I absolutely love going to Blend on the water. The food, the service all great. My only problem with this establishment is the drinks. If I’m going to pay $15 and up for alcoholic drinks I would like to have alcohol in my drinks not just ice and juice. I ordered three passion fruit mojitos and two of them were just juice. Overall I like the place.

The people at the hostess stand are rude, condescending and purposely unhelpful, especially the big girl. I watched a girl rudely tell someone they lost their table a minute after their grace period ended and told him the next one was not available for another two hours. The drinks were terrible and we ended up sending half of them back because they either tasted like gasoline or watered down. They have tables set up right next to the live band so if you get sat there good luck having a conversation without losing your voice and/or hearing the next day. The only saving grace for this place is at least they didn’t charge us for the drinks we had to send back or my boyfriend’s birthday dessert. There are way better restaurants in the area with nicer service, tastier food, and better views where you can spend your money. Would not waste your time with this one.

Beautiful place. Loved the plants on the ceiling. Enjoyed the ambiance, very lively and good music. We came for lunch for my husband’s birthday. We would come back!

Although the ambience was beautiful, the food was NOTHING special and the music is way too loud. The hostess was not accommodating with seating, and valet is $10?! No one said a word about valet costing extra. My party was lucky we had cash on us.

It was great ! We just got married and had our wedding day brunch there . The servers were great and got us cake with sparklers. It was amazing !

The restaurant was beautiful. The esthetic was beautiful. The food came out fast and the server was good. The food portions are very small we ordered guac as an appetizer and it was not a lot and was over priced. The food was yummy but servings were small.

My experience there was okay I've been here before many years ago and came for my birthday this year and idk but they was rushing us like we just sat down and they keep coming every 5 minutes keep Asking so you ready !! We order drinks to start but she insisted we also ordered like a appetizer okay so we did that got our drinks and appetizers and then ask 1 min after that so you wanna your main course like can I sip on my drink at least so that why I said being rush because why are you rushing us we just sat down and tbh it was only 10 minutes of us being there and she keep on coming every 5 minutes or so while we trying to enjoy our drinks and appetizers to start .. that's the part I didn't like we had to tell her can you wait a second please she then did and took our entrées a bit later but then start rushing again after we just received our dinner like wow.. what a shame I won't be back there after this .. and like I said before I had went few years back before like 2015 and it was like that at all idk if the manager instructed them to do that but very poorly on that !!!!

Had a dinner date with my girlfriend here. The ambiance is truly up to par for a romantic vibe. The drinks are delicious and the food was amazing. This is def a Latin spot and had some great music.

The waiter took my ID and said he’d hold onto it until I’m ready to leave which made no sense, but then it dawned on me, my husband is a young black man so it was suspicious. He kept my ID and never returned it. If he did take everyone’s ID and it was a regular thing they did, why’d he forget to return mine after I paid? Anyways, I live so far and had to return there a week later for my ID because of a waiters bad judgement on a young couple.

My birthday was completely ruined from the second they sat us. I had reservations for 2:15 today on my birthday with my parents and brother. They sat me in the hottest seating after I put in the comments that it was my birthday and I’m also pregnant. Got sat and our waiter did not show up for another 15 minutes. When she came she took our food order, got our appetizer right away. We thought the whole time that we were going to get our entrees and never got our food. The funny thing is the server came to our table and told us that our food would be out in less than five minutes, we had already waited the standard time of 30-40 minutes for our food so we’re ok with that. The server came out n told us our food will be out in less than 5 minutes. It was a whole 30 minutes later and still no food. Then I had asked one of the other waiters if she can find our waiter, because we never saw the waiter after that. We had no drink refill, and she was nowhere to be found. My dad told us to wait another 10 minutes. We waited another 10 minutes and still nothing so we got up and we went to the front and asked for my cake because we brought a cake from my birthday to sing happy birthday and finally the waiter shows up. And I told the host that our waiter was not being attentive and we have been waiting for our food for so long and still nothing. I was extremely hungry since I went there for brunch. I went there with an empty stomach and I am again pregnant. It’s my birthday and usually when it’s a special occasion, restaurants tend to bring more attentive because it’s a special occasion and I was not getting that at all. Left me with no refill, and at that point my whole vibe was ruined. My family and I left the restaurant very unsatisfied. No one even came to the front, even though we expressed to the host how we were feeling and none of them got a manager or anything to see what they can do for us. I just wanted to get out of there at that point, and we decided drove back home.

Service was terrible. From beginning to end. Have been there before and took guests, thinking I would impress them. I am so embarrassed. Will no longer recommend. Such a beautiful restaurant with amazing views. The staff is very unprofessional. Especially the girls at reception.

Waited 20 minutes for table even though we had reservations was seated outside in the dining area and it was cold. Asked to move told us yes after they cleaned a table and was never moved

The food, atmosphere, and service were terrific. If you have the time, you need to eat here. The food was spot on, and the service was great. Considering how busy it was, it was good to see that service wasn't affected that much. The prices are high, but it is understandable when you factor in the location. Seems to be the hot birthday dinner spot.

Blend on the water was beautiful restaurant and the food was good, I love the pina colada, Our server AMY was really rude and seemed annoyed, we asked her if she can sing happy birthday and she brushed off with her hand and didn’t even sing she just gave us desert and stood with an annoyed face. Overall the food and drinks were good, the service was just bad I’d definitely eat at a different blend location

We were promised comps and great service after our last visit where we had to eat a half hour to be seated; however that did not happen . While we enjoyed the food and drinks, we will not be returning because they ignored all correspondence.

Poor service, below average food. Had to keep flagging the waitress - she had an attitude not sure for what reason. Ownership is deceptive by charging you twice for gratuity.

It was great. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and he loved everything about it from the chorizo Mac and cheese to the little birthday cake with the candle. My only issues about this place was that the food did take some time to get to us as well as the check so parking space got charged extra for that and the space there is in the tables is very small but the food, the space, the service made up for it.

Not very busy on a Sunday afternoon. Had a reservation but didn’t really need it. Fast service. The huevos rancheros were delicious! Got a glass of OJ but was mostly ice so I think it was too pricey at $5. View of the East River is gorgeous.
