Embark on a culinary adventure unlike any other at BLACKOUT, a fascinating dining experience just off the Las Vegas Strip. Sitting in total darkness, your sense of taste and smell are completely heightened as you feast on a plant-based, multi-course, mystery meal of wonderful specialties.

Upon arrival at BLACKOUT, you're greeted by the friendly and entertaining staff. Next, you're led into the pitch-black dining room where your meal can begin. Taste and touch your way through a delicious lunch or dinner, one dish at a time.

At the end of your meal, the staff escorts you back to the lobby. Head back out into Vegas happy that you've had a truly unique sensory experience that you won't soon forget.

The Blackout dining experience is $89.95/per guest and includes admission and a seven course prix-fixe dinner.

Due to popular demand, reservations for BLACKOUT's Dining in the Dark are required.

    For a culinary adventure like no other, treat yourself to BLACKOUT "Dining in the Dark", an innovative dining experience off the Las Vegas Strip. Enjoy a multi-course dinner in total darkness and allow your sense of taste, touch, sound and smell to heighten. You will experience great food and dinner conversation like never before, all while you taste and touch your way through your 7-course dinner, one plate at a time. Dinner is $89.95 per guest and alcoholic drinks are available a la carte. Due to limited seating, we require a deposit of $20.00 per guest when booking this reservation. If you need to cancel your reservation, please do so at least 24 hours prior to your reservation in order to have your deposit refunded.

    The vegan food was excellent and so was our server. It took a few minutes getting used to the complete darkness but what a cool unique experience!

    This was a truly unique experience I would heartily recommend to anybody looking for a novel evening out. We were guided with exceptional care and friendly professionalism throughout the evening, the darkness was complete and yet neither oppressive nor scary. The heightened sense of taste as a result of lack of vision made for a wonderful dining experience. Would sincerely recommend and we will definitely be coming back.

    Amazing wait staff. Food was okay, not that great. Really fun trying to figure out what we were eating. Experience was worth it.

    This was a dining experience like no other, I couldn’t have dreamt up if I tried. I was truly in the dark. It’s weird, a little off putting, but I got used to it pretty quick. The sounds and smells around me were heightened to crazy levels. I could “see” in the dark after the second plate was served. Listening to others in the room enjoying their experiences let to even more anticipation of the next plate to be served to me. We were presented a total of seven delicious plates of food. Dessert was the final plate and we were hard pressed to consume it since we were so full by plate five! We had a choice of beverage aside from water and were kept entertained by our server. Each plate of food was a different flavor profile and some came with additional scrumptious sauces. There were textures that kept us guessing what they were until all was revealed at the end of the meal when we finally saw our menus. I was allergic to certain things so I had a different set of foods than my dining companion. All her selections fascinated her and she was very surprised how tasty vegan eating can be. She’d never eaten an entirely vegan profile menu and found that she’d definitely expand her food options to add vegan options going forward. People that complained everything was one note, mushy or bland, might have benefited better by slowing down, not eating in a larger group or drinking alcohol along with the meal. I saw a lot of ladies entering back into the lobby at the end of their meal with a single flower. They might’ve been on a date or celebrating something. Very lovely touch! All told it was an incredible two hour tour into the dark that we’ll reminisce about for years to come. Please go!

    We had the best time at blackout! Our server was great and funny. Food was delicious and everything came out hot and fast. 10/10 would reccomend

    We were excited to try this experience as it was something a little different. We were greeted by staff who explained the process and then guided us into the dining area. We laughed about how on earth we were going to eat without spilling! We felt the courses came rather quickly and we didn’t have time to fully enjoy each item. Our server was attentive and overall the food was tasty, especially for plant based food. Overall we enjoyed the experience but it was a once only thing for us.

    The menu is vegan and it does not say this in their web page. The fact that the entire menu is plant based should be prominent somewhere on their website. The server was nice, but the food was terrible and exactly what I wasn't looking for.

    Way overpriced! It was all downhill after the first course of soup which was tasty. Everything that followed was lacking flavor. The main entree--course six of seven--was a Beyond Meat Brand concoction that arrive cold and contained way too much sodium. Dessert was bland. Our server,Kayla,did a fine job as did staff on entry to the building. They really need to step it up on the food--insufficient value for the price.. It's in a little strip-type mall across the street from the Rio Hotel. Nothing to see here. Can't recommend. Would have given one star if not for the cordial service.
