Blacklock Shoreditch is set an old furniture factory in the heart of London’s East End. Expect the usual highest quality meat from Phillip Warren in Cornwall for unbeatable value and always lots of fun.

On Sundays it's our award winning Sunday Roasts, almost as good as Mum’s.

The food was gorgeous, our waiters service was impeccable. They heard we were celebrating and decided to give us something for us to enjoy. Will be coming back again and again.

Great way to start your Sunday, perfectly spiced Bloody Mary, mixed roasts , loved we got our gravy topped up. Music , great tunes .

Fantastic Sunday roast. The All In is an excellent way of sharing with friends and family. All of us had a chance to try the different cuts of meat. The white chocolate cheesecake is a must try.

We come here all the time and food is always consistently outstanding! However the service was not on point last night, slow and inattentive. Also at one point the air conditioning has been cranked and everyone had to put on a jacket cause it was freezing. We’d still go back but maybe these issues should be addressed

I decided to go to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday that I sent into notes of bookings. We were served by a waitress that unfortunately was not very motivated to do her job, we wait long time before to order and we lost the chance to try the porterhouse steak because we're quickly sold out from other waiters (at 7.15pm 😔) while our pour tap water for all her section. No smile, no cake completely no attention to customer and when I asked to remove the service charge neither ask if something went wrong.... Also the manager approached the table to understand what happen. Food is ok. But service they need to work on!

We arrived and the restaurant informed us that they were sold out of the lamb roast, one of the 3 meats included in their “all-in Sunday roast” which was exactly why we and all customers booked to dine that evening. We said that was fine. After being seated, they told us they were also out of the pork roast, thereby meaning 2/3 of the items included would not be there. Annoyingly, all other tables around us were offered a free round of drinks and free dessert to compensate for the issue. We were not offered this and when asked why, the waiter told us that it was because we had not expressed displeasure that the meats were not available. We certainly did and she was not willing to take the drinks or desserts of our bill as they had done for the others. Since the main attraction of this restaurant on Sundays is the all-in roast, we were disappointed that so much was missing and to not be treated as the other guests in consolation.

Really enjoyable experience from start to finish. We arrived a little early but were seated promptly without issue. We didn't go for starters, just went for the "All In" roast to share for 2 people. I can't speak highly enough about the food. All the meat was cooked to perfection, the roast potatoes were lovely and crispy, carrots were a bit firmer than I would have liked but that's subjective. The cauliflower cheese was delicious. An extra gravy boat was delivered without issue on request. Finally the dessert. Wow, all I'm saying is make sure you leave room for the white chocolate cheesecake as it's simply on another level. They aren't in the slightest bit stingy with the portions either (a running theme here), so if you have a sweet tooth, this is an absolute must. Would I return? Absolutely. Hat's off to the Blacklock team :) P.S. The complimentary Blacklockcello's were a lovely touch.

Went for roast dinner with family. Had 3 people sharing the 'all in' and 1 had the vege option. All enjoyed the food however serving size was on the smaller side- not sure if this was because we visited a little later in the day and they had realised they were running out? Also the lamb was a little over cooked and tough, however very likely because we visited later in the day on Sunday as probably perfectly cooked a few hours earlier. We ordered the side of extra trimmings which made the serving side about what you'd expect for paying that price. The white choc cheesecake and crumble were delicious too! for 4 people, a couple of drinks and a bottle of wine we paid £210 all together which was reasonable for the food we got although the higher end that I would have been willing to pay for the serving size that we did receive. In my opinion- if you are getting the 'all in' roast it should be unlimited sides as it is in many other roast dinner places on a Sunday.

My 2nd blacklock experience and this time I asked for my meat well done and got a much better meal than the last time. We did have to ask for extra potatoes as there were only 5 between us both, we also asked for more gravey as one boat was not enough. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and even had enough left to take some home.

We came here for a small intimate birthday dinner. Food was great service fantastic. The restaurant was a little noisy, but that is normal for 8pm on Saturday night.

We booked a table for 6 at very short notice and only had to wait 2 minutes before it was ready. The service was prompt and the food was amazing!! Got to love the Pig’s Head on Toast

Terrific food, friendly and attentive service! The steaks were perfectly cooked with no chewy bits and melt in your mouth fat. The drinks were superb and we had a great time. Noise levels were perfect. We were given a delicious cheesecake at the end of our meal to celebrate a birthday for someone in our party which was unexpected and appreciated! The bill was a little more than we had budgeted but we did order a lot and it was a special occasion so can't complain. Thank you!

Ordered the all in roast on a Sunday to try it out. It's essentially one large plate (rec for X2 or more people) and you both share but we found that if we didn't order extra sides (at cost) it probably wouldn't have been enough for us as we was expecting a mountain of meat as per a social media video we saw prior. Don't get me wrong the value is still very good , we were just expecting more food than what was received that's all. Beef, lamb and pork was very nice and I liked the accompanying condiments for each - mint, horseradish and apple sauce. The roasties and gravy was belting! Christopher.

Waitress was fab! Bloody Mary was amazing. Food was ok - not amazing. Hostess was odd - quite rude on arrival, she clocked us, but turned her back to chat to another member of staff for ages. When she finally acknowledged us, I asked whether there was a kids price for the All In roast - she said yes £10 - then charged us £26 on the bill - apparently we had a ‘miscommunication’! Hmm.
