We reside in an old Feed and Mercantile Building in the heart of Old Town Temecula. We believe in quality over quantity, cutting no corners and most of all, in our community. Blackbird Tavern has an “Old Farm-House” feel with Modern amenities. Our 12,000 Square foot venue was designed to accommodate events of all sizes, from a 40 guest rehearsal dinner to a 200 guest reception. Blackbird was a nice surprise. Tucked away on a side street of Old Town Temecula, it had a great ambience. We went there for Mother's Day Brunch. Our reservation was for 11:00 am and were seated as soon as we walked in. We sat in the outdoor patio and greeted immediately by our server. We ordered Bloody Mary's that were overflowing with garnish, delicious! The patio dining area has many activities: Corn Hole, Large Jenga Blocks, etc. It was quiet and relaxed. The food was great and there was a large variety of dishes on the menu. We ordered the Mediterranean Flatbread and the Italian Bene which we shared. Both were amazing in taste and presentation. We will definitely go back to Blackbird!

The only reason I gave Blackbird Tavern this rating is for the food only. I ordered the coconut fried chicken curry and it was not good. Extremely spicy, the menu doesn’t tell you the level of spice, I barely tasted the coconut. The bowl was drowning in curry sauce with what seemed like a half of cup of rice. The chicken was more breading than chicken. Also, the many food options on their menu. The curry was by far the worst curry I’ve ever had.

Good food. The service was friendly but pretty slow inattentive. This despite the fact that it was not at all crowded. Nonetheless, a pleasant experience.

Blackbird is a good restaurant with a variety of offerings. We had raven flatbread, chicken curry and a sweet and Spicy chicken sandwich. Flat bread was great. Chicken curry was pretty spicy but we had been warned. And I personally enjoyed the chicken sandwich. Prices were a little high, but most are nowadays. Service was great.

One of the best restaurant in Old Town Temecula!!! Hands down the best food!!! Absolutely delicious!!! Appetizer and main dish was spot on. Highly recommended and will be back again.

Overall really cool place, I’d go back. The drinks are very good. Food could use some work but overall good. The burgers are great, the carnitas fries were soggy but tasty. Solid menu just tweak a few things and this place would be awesome. But I’d go back, very friendly service, cool area and we all really enjoyed it.
