Welcome to Black Sage at Open Sky Resort, an extraordinary dining oasis near Zion National Park. Helmed by the renowned Chef Charles Parcell, we offer an exceptional culinary adventure. Here, delicious cuisine, captivating Zion views, and serene ambiance converge.

Savor dishes crafted from the freshest local ingredients in our tranquil setting. The indoor dining area radiates sophistication with stylish gray tables, elegant black chairs, and deep red accents, complemented by expansive windows showcasing Zion's beauty.

From May 1 to November 1, our outdoor experience awaits. Dine under a canopy with misters for comfort, and as night falls, heaters add a cozy touch for dining under the stars.

Please note, Black Sage is closed for the winter. We eagerly await your visit when we reopen on February 14, 2024. Join us then for a unique blend of refined dining and nature's allure at Black Sage.

Reservations are required and we recommend arriving 20 minutes early for seating.

Black Sage is a hidden gem that you can’t miss. Chef Charles creates delicious dishes, the service was amazing, and the view can’t be beat!

Great farm to table dining experience. Enjoyed all 6 of our dishes. Don’t forget to get the cheesecake. Setting is beautiful and quiet especially compared to some of the Springdale restaurants. Worth the drive to see the mesas and dine even if not staying at Open Sky.

Service exceeding slow. Even for the middle of nowhere. Appetizers were good Salmon ok. Desserts just ok ( but $$$) Maybe expecting a little too much from prior reviews

Don’t miss this place! It’s off the beaten path but after trying restaurants in Springdale I promise it’s worth the drive. We don’t love a super loud and busy restaurant so being able to enjoy a meal in peace was wonderful. Plus the food is super tasty and inventive but not so extreme you are wondering what’s on your plate. We stayed on property and came back for a second experiance. So needless to say we enjoyed it. The steak dish was pretty pricey but large and delicious. It’s also meat from a local butcher which could indicate price. Would return 10/10!

This place was spectacular in every way. It is off the beaten path and if you want a true right in nature experience this is it. From the center of Springdale it was a thirty minute drive but worth it. The view was incredible and the food exceptional. We had trout and a Caesar salad and dessert surpassing any I have had before. Our waiter was laid back, efficient, cordial and very informative. We sat outside but it was covered and had misters that made the 104 degree temperature very comfortable. Loved it all!

Best meal ever!!! The food was incredible. Truly. While the decor is good the chef is great!!!! My goodness. I had the gnocchi. Delicious. My husband had the burger. It was insane!!! Those fries are the best I have ever had. Ever!!! Southwest inspired farm to table done exactly right!
