I brought my friends to try the Black Prong Restaurant and everything about it was amazing. As a group of equestrians, we loved the horse and natured themed atmosphere and the food was astounding. We came slightly earlier than our scheduled time and they were able to accommodate us, we tried dishes based off of the recommendations and were blown away. We plan to make this a regular occurrence. The appetizer bread and butter alone was enough to convince to make this a regular spot. 10/10

One of the nicest restaurants in the area. Great food and level of service. Good wine list and fun cocktails. Will definitely be back.

I took my Mother-in-Law for the Mother’s Day Brunch and we had a great time! The food was excellent (as always) and our server was the best! We also got the wine pairing, so that really enhanced our dining experience.

We had the set meal for Mother’s Day. Food was great. The tomato bisque was disappointing because the caramelized cheese was not crusty enough and balanced with the soup liquid. A slice of toasted sourdough bread accompanying the soup would have been great. The Red Snapper Almondine was superb, cooked perfect and the crust was yummy, the asparagus were crisp and tasty. A watermelon salad was delicate and refreshing. The raspberry bread pudding was a great dessert to finish the meal. The wine and drink paring options was a nice touch but we only opted for a nice white wine and an after meal cordial. A major drawback was the lighting and curtains/shades being closed giving the atmosphere dark and uninviting. Comment was made but waiter mentioned they were set up for their evening seating since they normally are not open during the day. This was detracting from the overall experience. Bottom line great friendly service, awesome food, and pricing!

Anticipating a lovely Mother's Day dining experience with out of town friends, I am sad to say, the service and cuisine was awful!! And, The Black Prong Bar and Grill is the most expensive establishment in Levy County!! I am not reviewing just one serving, but all four! Overcooked, not to order, terrible sequenced service,... after a complaint, one meal was compted...we left a 15% gratuity out of pity for the server!!

Everything was great except that the kitchen was a bit slow. Music was very good and the sound level was perfect as it allowed conversation.

What a great dining experience. This was our first time dining at Black Prong Bar and Grill and it will not be our last. This is a N Central Fl gem! Nestled in the heart of horse country this is a dining oasis. We made reservations and were greeted and seated within a few moments of walking through the doors. Monique was our server and was a delight to work with. She was quite knowledgeable about BP itself and was able to walk us through the menu w ease. We started with the filet mignon street tacos- they were delicious. We then enjoyed the NZ lamb chops on a bed of butternut squash purée w peas. Delicious! My wife ordered the chicken parmigiana on a light bed of pasta. The chicken parm was so very delicious -probably the best I’ve ever had ( and I’ve eaten at a lot of fine Italian restaurants in my day). We finished off the night by sharing a slice of the crème brûlée cheesecake. Again, what a perfect ending to w wonderful dining experience. We will certainly be returning for more dining experiences at Black Prong Bar and Grill
