Black Mountain Grill is a combination steak house, bar and gaming center. Guests will feel right at home sunken into a deep leather chair at the bar, dining on delightful Pacific fusion cuisine with friendly staff or playing games on one of the video poker screens.

Open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Outdoor dining seating available. Black Mountain Grill has a half-price late night menu, early bird breakfast starting at 6 am and a full wine and beer list. The dinner menu includes appetizers, soups, salads, handhelds (sandwiches), wood-fired pizza and pasta. Come see us on Friday and Saturday for Prime Rib night!

We were seated right away and the waitress was nice. We had heard good things about the fish & chips so my husband ordered. It was horrible. Undercooked and mushy. The waitress never asked about how our food was so he never had a chance to let her know. He was going to send it back at the end but I told him not too. It was too late. Probably won’t be back. My French dip was dry, definitely needed the au jus. The fries were good though.

Solid food. Friday and Saturday prime rib is a good value. Wines are well priced compared to other places. Advise showing up close to reservation time due to no waiting area. Easier to be early if you don’t have e kids because you can wait at the bar.

Love eating there. It is a hidden location to some that don’t know about it. You would not be disappointed at all. Nice dining, nice ambience, and the food is great.

Overall, the food was good as always. Service was excellent. Over the last year the time to order and get food has become annoyingly long. We ordered a chicken sandwich and pot pie. Order to table? 35 minutes. That's been the norm the last few times. Not sure why, we've been going there 5 years and hadn't experienced this in the first 3+ years.

When we really want to relax and enjoy a few cocktails and satisfying food, we head to Black Mountain Grill! The grill is especially restorative after being depleted from going to medical appointments! We’re always warmly greeted and enjoy seeing the dynamic staff, who are always helpful, friendly, and fun! This particular evening I enjoyed the shrimp scampi, and that sauce was so yummy that I ate all of the Angel hair pasta without eating the generous large shrimp! (So we’re making more pasta and having the shrimp tonight.) The shrimp scampi was simply divine; so scrumptious that I’ll be ordering it again on the regular! My companion had a chicken salad and she was very pleased with her food as well. Then we ordered a margarita pizza to go; which is always an excellent choice, so we’ll have another dinner on tap at home. Black Mountain Grill’s food is great, whether we dine in or take it home, but we like to go enjoy the ambience whenever we can!

What a pleasure to be able to go to Black Mountain Grill on Valentines Day for lunch with friends and enjoy lobster bisque soup du jour, salad with bleu cheese crumbles, and a surprise Valentine cupcake! Everything was delicious, and we’re always delighted to be warmly greeted by longtime staff whom we think of as friends. Food and service were excellent, and we were happy to have been able to enjoy a fun Valentine’s Day ahead of the evening crowd!

Black Mountain Grill is one of our local favorite restaurant’s . We enjoyed a crisp cold Caesar and chop salad . Our main entrees included the filet mignon charred nicely . The cowboy steak was seasoned well . We enjoyed the loaded baked potato . Sarah , Rachel and Paul make the bar experience delightful . Always a good time with great food and pleasant ambiance .

We eat here often. Typically, they are excellent on water/drink refills and mostly consistent food. Last night, it was just OK. We waited awhile for food and when my dinner came - Chicken Panini sandwich - it was visibly grilled black - the lines in the toast were burnt. The manager had brought it, so given we like how he typically runs the restaurant, I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Frankly it was just OK - I could taste some burned flavor, but not enough I’d send it back and we we’re pressed for time. Next time, it will go back though. We would eat there again, as most experiences are generally above average.

Food and service are consistently very good which is why we are repeat customers. Noise level depends on where you choose to sit. In the dining area, noise levels are low. In the bar, a little louder, to be expected.

Really enjoyed our meal. We took a guest who was visiting. They both had the prime rib special, and I had the protein bowl - outstanding, so fresh, beautiful, and delicious. Glad we chose this place.

I ordered the queen cut prime rib rate. I was informed that at that time they only had medium available. What arrived was well done. Flavor was acceptable, but dry and tough as well done often is. My boys both ordered a full rack of ribs, they were kind of fatty and lots of gristle. The sauce was unpleasant IMO, but my boys didn’t complain. The wife ordered fish and chips, she reported it as “mid”. As I didn’t try it, I have no further comments.

So went in with a service animal and was told by the manager they do now allow dogs in their facility! I told them this is against the law, federal and Nevada law! He said the owner does not allow! He asked me what my service animal was for. My wife was so upset she said let’s just leave.

This is very close to where we live and I am disappointed that we have eaten here before. The food was great I have a burger and onion rings both were very good. My wife had the French Onion soup and salad and again both were good. Service was great.
