Time counts at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. Since our humble beginnings back in 1978, we've continued to refine our brewhouse experience to make BJ's a place where you can make the most of any meal. It was a busy Friday night but the food took way too long and it was very cold. We had to wait over 20 minutes for our meal.

We were 8 minutes late for a party of 9 so they gave away our reservation, and made us wait like 85 minutes. We had like 5 young kids. Kinda a cluster.

I was pleased by the vast menu offerings and the fact that the food was very good. Service was excellent as well. It’s noisy with all the customers and TV’s but I was there at lunchtime so it may be quieter before and after that time. I was pleased there are many other locations that I can go to when I’m farther away from home.

Every thing was fine. My only problem was, when I checked in they didn’t log it and I got an email from Open Table that the reservation was canceled and I didn’t get any points. I did call the Rand they corrected the error.

We ordered a pretzel for appetizer but it was forgotten about and we didn't mention because our soup and salad came out. We couldn't start eating however, since we had no silverware and had to wait for someone to come by to ask for that. We had just started eating our soup and salad and our food came out. Very poor timing. My tri-tip had a vein of gristle and then had to wait for that. They did replace, but the total dinner seamed off. Not one of our better experiences tonight. Food was fresh and tasted great however. Servers need help serving.

Our server in training and her shadow did an excellent job handling our group. Although my friends are amicable and harmless as a very experienced former server myself she did an excellent job and is a welcome addition to your BJ's team. Unfortunately I don't recall her name (I'm sure she told us), but it was her last night with a shadow.

Wonderful experience! Went out for a friends 21st birthday. Waitress (Ava) was the best. So energetic and friendly! Only thing was that they didn’t have our table ready and we had to wait about 30 minutes past our reservation time. It was a busy Friday night, so totally understandable. We don’t mind waiting, but if you do, I guess keep this in mind.

The pizza taste worst than Pizza Hut. It seemed that they just cut two pizzas and combined them together in the half/half option instead of cooking one whole pizza with different toppings. Service was slow and had to ask several times for requested items. Won’t be returning.

Had relatives in from out of state and decided on BJs because its generally a great place to eat and have a conversation. However, our server sat us next multiple parties of 15+ teenagers at each row of tables. Conversation was impossible with the level of noise. Service timing was terrible due to crowd. We were served soup/salad less than 60 seconds before hot entrees arrived. By the time my salad was finished, my prime rib was cold. Then had to wait nearly a half hour for dessert to arrive. My husband visited restroom the Men's room and I went in the Women's restroom during our visit. Both were trashed. I'm sure our entrees would have been great if they hadn't gotten cold.

Another amazing visit to BJ’s. Everything was excellent. Her server was wonderful and attentive. We had one little problem and the manager came over and corrected it practically before we even had time to think about it. Outstanding customer service. That’s a rare thing these days.

Restaurant was very busy at the weekend dinner hour, but we only had a short wait with our reservation, as they were quoting 25 min. Our server was very friendly and attentive, also suggesting extra dressing and lemon with entrees. The manager greeted us, which added a nice touch.

Pizza was doughy had no sauce or flavor. This was my 3rd visit and I guess I simply do not like that style of Pizza as it is the worst ever each time. The staff and service were great so maybe I will simply have to eat something else there if I return.

Very busy with the Holiday season. Had an hour wait with having an Open table reservation. Customers were lingering, talking and lots of large parties taking tables

Service was very good. Very noisy. Our table was in a drafty place not too far from the entrance. The French prime rib dip was very dry and overcooked.

Its always a pleasure to dine at the Bj's in escondido. The servers are well trained and all upkeep the same energy levels and proffessionalism. Food is always hot, well dressed and topped and deliciousley plated.

Service was excellent. I tried the new filet mignon, shrimp and cheddar mashed with asparagus on the special menu offeeings. The asparagus was so thin, that the tips were dry and burnt. The restaurant shouldn't be serving such skimpy asparagus. The mashed potatoes were cold, probably waiting for the steak to cook. The gravy was very tasty however. My server brought out hot replacement potatoes. Though tasty, I will not be ordering it again for the price. At that price, stick to the prime rib dinner. It is a better deal.

All the staff was very friendly. Our set was very busy, as it seamed the were short staffed on servers, as the restaurant was not that busy during the early dinner hour. It was full when we left. My soup came out in reasonable time, however it was room temperature, not hot. I told my server and she asked another person to take it back and microwave it. My server was so busy taking care of tables in two rooms that I had to catch her attention to get refills. Normally she is on top of it. A little disappointed in this visit.

If you get baked potatoe as a side. If you are asked if you want it loaded, it cost $3 more. If you reply, no just bacon bits and butter, it is still $3 more. Just butter then it is included as a side. $3 for some crumbles! I believe the server should have pointed this out. The rest of the bill was fine, as was the service. We like it here. Seated, then two tables of ten+ were added. 12 children running around the tables for 30 minutes! Hard to believe they nearly fill up on a Thursday evening!! We usually just eat lunches here.

Kitchen staff got something screwed up. The food runners brought our food out before our soup and salad. We started eating that and fortunately the soup was hot enough. Salads you can eat afterwards. The restaurant was very busy, but very short wait for table and food came out fast despite, just backwards. The manager seeing this ran back to the kitchen to see what was going on.

Seated immediately and everyone friendly. Excellent service. We tried a different entree this evening, the Sobe noodles with chicken and veggies. Portion size seamed smaller than anticipated. Mr. Was still hungry. Thursday BBQ deal still ample food deal

The food was great and we had a lot to choose from. Our waitress was friendly and awesome. She kept checking on us to see if we needed anything else. My husband was so happy that he could watch his baseball game. Everything went smoothly and it was not too noisy at all!

$20 for the worst salad ever. lettuce was not crisp and the flavor came from a bunch of chili powder dumped over the entire salad. Will not be going back.

Great experience. We made a reservation and were seated almost immediately, even though it was Homecoming and they were clearly busy with several large parties. Our server was amazing and all of her recommendations were spot-on. She was definitely overwhelmed with many tables, several of them being those Homecoming parties, but she never showed it and always had a smile on her face. She was professional, kind, and courteous and really seemed to enjoy her job. All of the staff, from the hostess, to the gentleman to sat us, to the food delivery staff were pleasant and kind. Food was quick and hot and tasted amazing. A perfect night!
