It was just okay this time. We use to get better food and much better service. The hostess said our reservations are no good through the round table app and didn't want to seat us. We talked to a manager to finally get seating. The waitress was not friendly. Won't return for a while.

I had the Apple/Walnut Salad with grilled chicken - it was amazing! Others in my group had the burgers and fish & chips. All the burgers are made with grass fed beef. My brother-in-law said the fish & chips was very good. This is a casual place with over 40 local beers on tap - it’s a great night out with friends and family.

We had a party of six going to the theater after dinner. The wait staff was prompt and allowed us separate checks. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

So many delicious choices on the menu. Something for everyone. Great beer selection as well. Wonderful amicable and our server was so attentive and nice. Yum!! We’ll be back.

I have been going to Bitter Creek since they opened and have always loved their food. Last night I ordered the Cobb salad and the dressing was different, very vinegary and I didn’t care for it. The original dressing is so much better.

We had a fun time at Bittercreek. It’s obviously a very popular place for diners of all ages. We were glad we made a reservation as it was very busy at 7:00 pm on a Monday night. Food was good, especially the Caesar salad. The waitstaff was fun and attentive. We’ll come back!

Didn’t get right good - my wife ordered a BLT - got a chicken club. . Fish and chips were bland. Waitress asked if I wanted malt vinegar. Never did bring it, even after I asked her again. Never came back to fill water or ask how our food was. Just came back at end to see if we wanted dessert.

Our server, Zeke, was amazing. This young man had everything it takes to be a successful server. He was very attentive, always there to take a drink order or anything else we desired. He was wearing Georgia football attire, which on a Saturday in Idaho is the dress code. We had a great time taking a ribbing from him about how good Georgia is this year. Great young man. He'd make a hell of a manager some day.

Came here (with reservations), following a Boise State game. We arrived a little early but were seated right away. Beers and burgers were great. Our server, Zeke, was outstanding! Polite, friendly, enthusiastic and professional.

Wow this was bad. From the blonde female hostess in front of the business to the blonde female waitress that "helped" us. The hostess could not smile first of all, then made a snide remark about my bag, insecure. Then the waitress did not smile once even though I said thank you and please for everything, again, insecure old blonde woman. I know it was bad service because people would get sat next to us and she would smile and be helpful, except the difference between our table and the others is that those people treated her extremely poorly. So, I am not sure if she just likes people that treat her like a slave and cannot say thank you or she just wants to have a bully like mentality to people that treat her well. In the end, she lost her tip because she finally smiled when she gave us the check. Like all waiting staff do, they try to be nice in the last 5 seconds to make up for the $150 meal I just spent on their poor service. I also said bad service all around on the check, but I am sure she already knew that. No, you do not get a tip for bringing me my meal, you get a tip for serving with a smile and doing what I want. PERIOD. That is customer service. The last time I was here was probably 8 years ago and I remember another female giving us bad service. I am a female and love to empower other females, but these ones are miserable and should be replaced. I will not be coming back and no I do not recommend this place.

This was our first time in a year. I called to make reservations and they told me that they didn't have anything until 9pm, so I went online and got a reservation at 6:15pm. We sat outside and they put us in the sun. There was another table available that had shade but they wouldn't give it to us because it was set for 6 people and there were only 4 of us. The sun did go down after 20 minutes. The server was great! The food was good.

We were uncertain about ordering an appetizer so our server said she would bring the most popular one that would best feed our table of five. We received the Cauliflower Wings. Only one of our group were able to eat them because they are a little spicy. It would have been helpful if she had either asked if anyone didn’t care for (or couldn’t eat) spicy food. The person who was able to eat them did say they were delicious, however.

I have always enjoyed my outings to Bittercreek. Wether I am there on a date with my partner, celebrating an occasion or having a meal with friends, I have never been disappointed. This time I had the house salad with grilled chicken and ranch, as well as the polenta fries. Both were amazing but especially the polenta fries. Also important to note: if you are a Boise Co-op Member, you get 10% off, just bring your membership card.

Cons: Unfortunately, the burgers were over cooked and dry. Cheese on the Huntsman Burger ($18.75) was a tiny piece. Fries were not hot. Pros: Our large group received excellent service! Inside and Outside Grilled Cheese sandwiches were very good.

It was so hot they have a temperature control issue. Hard to eat when you are hot. Food ok not up to usual oar. Cheese curds were mostly breading missing cheese. Salmon over cooked . Burger ok but didn’t seem like hand made seem like a premade patty.

Nothing beats the Beef Focaccia and their Cobb Salad. It was a little warm inside the restaurant, I’m sure we would have stayed longer if they had better A/C. Overall, it’s still our favorite go-to spot for great food and fast service.

We really enjoyed our previous experience’s. This dinner out left me flat. The food was mediocre and the service was equally mediocre. That being said, hopefully this was an anomaly. If you want an intimate dining experience, this is not your place. Bittercreek is for the loud, young downtown crowd. If you want anything else, go somewhere else.
