Great local brunch place. Service was good, it was slower than we expected. Chicken and waffles was good. French Toast And Belgian waffle w fruit were tasty. Would get the beignets appetizer again-who doesn’t love a ball of dough with powdered sugar!

U won’t regret eating here. The Shrimp & Grits, Beignets, and Chicken & Waffles were amazing! That dipping sauce for the chicken was WOW AMAZING! The noise level was energetic b/c a lady was celebrating her Birthday BUT that didn’t bother us & we toasted & sang Happy Bday also🤣 I loved the murals on the walls. It added a sense that you knew you were in New Orleans. The owner was very personable and attentive & he even took a pic with us! I gave a review b/c I just want others to experience this tasty food!!!

Food & Service is always second to none. This is the only place in the city where you can order the exact same thing and it tastes just as good as the first time. I had the hot sausage benedict with the poached eggs with a side of grits. Amazing!

Was not a fan of the restaurant. Food was lackluster and service was marginal at best. I'll try again the next time I'm in New Orleans.

I set a reservation for a specific time and arrived a few minutes early. When I went into the restaurant, which is very cute but tiny I was told to wait outside and we would be called. After waiting about 30 mins I went back inside and was told again they were waiting for tables to clear and would call my name, but I needed to wait outside. After yet another 30 mins I went back inside and the cycle continued. After about 20 more minutes, of standing outside we were walking away to leave when they called my name. Once inside we were sat out waitress came once to take our order (by the way they only have can drinks & it is BYOB) we asked for glasses of ice but didn’t get those till we were halfway through our meal which was delivered by someone else. We only saw our waitress when we ordered & when she brought the check. Food was good, but not worth all that hassle.

Charming eatery with lots of wall art! Appears to be a converted row home. The food and service amazing..no frills but amazing! The waffalwich with eggs, cheese and your choice of meat chef kiss. Breakfast potatoes seasoned to perfection. No wait time and breakfast served in less than 20 minutes. You can BYOB!!!! Definitely recommend 10 out of 10!!

Cute neighborhood find. Was initially bummed that they didn’t have biscuits, but the other food and service made up for it. The grits were the best!

We had a meal at Biscuits and Buns on Banks while visiting our son at college. Delicious brunch with a funky-cool vibe! We'll definitely be back!

From the outside I was a bit skeptical about the inside and the food. But, once inside we were greeted with a smile. Seated immediately- loved the ambiance. The server pleasantly waited as we were indulged in conversation. She let us know the special for that day as well as recommendations. Because my friend didn’t eat eggs we both got the Chicken and Honey sriracha biscuits and the breakfast potatoes; after receiving our brunch we were extremely satisfied. We both were very pleased. Note : The only thing I would say is that walking in there should be a glass shield where the food’s being prepared- as people are coming in or create another entrance.

We sat there for an hour and our food never came. They told us one of the waffle makers was not working but when we checked, they said they both were not working. Food never came. We left after an hour and we were never served. So so disappointing! They should have told us early on there were problems so we could order something else. We would never go back again. They wasted our time and we had reservations too.

The service was terrible, every time we asked the waitress for something, she brought something different to the table. The restaurant is a small house, like a regular house with like 5 tables. The food was decent, but it took forever for it come and they kept messing up our order. I try to suppprt all small businesses, but I wouldn't try them again the next time we visit New Orleans.
