Birdy’s Behind the Bower is a breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot perched in the back of the Framework building, serving Southern-inspired, locally-sourced American cuisine alongside a welcoming outdoor courtyard. Some of the best food! The two breakfast boards were fantastic. We went for an early Mother’s Day brunch and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience servers were sweet to take pictures and give us a great cute experience just for the girls!!

Amazing service! Truly made the experience! Everyone loved their food and they were wonderful with celebrating one guests’ birthday! Mushroom toast, BLT, and Louisiana Melt were all delicious! And the salt on the spicy bird-arita is mystically delicious!

Food was excellent! It was the perfect brunch spot in the cutest little neighborhood. Still thinking about the tater tots a day later. Vietnamese coffee was delish! Highly recommend!

Good was mediocre at best. Toast wasn't toasted, grits way too salty etc. Ambiance was nice and seevice friendly. Wish the food was better.

The kitchen was incredibly slow considering the restaurant was not crowded for Sunday brunch/lunch. There was a large group of women who were being very loud, but that’s outside of the staffs control. Great food!

I give this rating because my boyfriend and I arrived at Birdy’s at 12:55. Our reservation was for 1pm. We sat down, ordered drinks & immediately ordered food. Our food did not arrive to our table until 1:50pm, almost a whole hour later! They took off 20% but the young lady had no explanation as to why it took so long. The food to me was mid, I got the classic breakfast plate.

The ambiance was nice, the food was great, but the best part was the service. Everyone was so polite, and accommodating. This should be the norm when going out to eat, but it’s not.. This was a great experience.

Absolutely charming eatery. We loved all the quaint little touches and openness of Birdy’s. Loved the outdoor area available for eating. Will definitely return!

So good! Cocktails, coffee, and food were all delicious. The biscuit board is a MUST! I promise you won’t regret it. All the staff is friendly, helpful, and timely. Will definitely be back. Perfect spot for a girls brunch or morning date.

The food here was pretty good but i definitely did not feel it was worth the price. The quality of food was just not there. Like it said the taste was good but for the price I expected better quality. If you are going to charge $3 for one egg I expect it to be organic. Also the avocado on my avocado toast tasted like Wholly Guacamole not like fresh avocados. It was just lacking in quality and freshness.

I chose Birdy's because my friend is a vegetarian and they had some interesting vegetarian options. He chose the Mushroom and Sushi rice bowl. He said later that he should have gone with something else. It was basically soy sauce soup. I had the Cobb Salad, which I loved. The weather was pleasant, so we were able to sit outside. A lovely place, just maybe avoid the Sushi Rice bowl.

I wouldn’t know how the food taste because I never received it We waited patiently from 1:56 -3:47 and still no food. Don’t really know who our server was . Just so disappointed.

First time here, out of towner from Dallas. Loved the pomegranate mimosa by far best one I’ve ever had. The avocado toast was fresh, airy and seasoned perfectly! But my favorite thing on the menu was the Brûlée Bananas Foster Waffles —- they were life changing! When im back in NOLA I’ll definitely be brunching here again!

I love the vibe and our server was very sweet and attentive. The chicken biscuit however was 0/10. It was mostly crispy and breading- hardly any chicken. Biscuit was dry and chicken had no flavor.

Super friendly staff (our server gave us tips on where to go around the neighborhood). The food is outstanding. I was initially afraid of risking a modern brunch spot in a city with so many tradicional ones, but no regrets. Pulled pork benedict and smoked trout croissants were out of this world.

Our visit to Birdy’s was very enjoyable. Everything we ordered was delicious! The mocktail punch and Mardi Gras latte were extremely well done! The servers were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend that you give it a try!

Overall pretty good experience. I’ve been here before just not as recently and had the breakfast board. I tried to venture off my normal, but wasn’t as satisfied. Food wasn’t bad, just not seasoned well enough for my liking. Beautiful place with a lovely asthetic.

I brought my friends from out of town here from brunch. The ambiance is wonderful and we had excellent service (our server was a petite young lady). The menu looked awesome and I ordered huevos rancheros. Unfortunately I felt it lacked flavor so I look forward to going back and trying something else.
