Le bar-restaurant Birch’s a officiellement déménagé au bord du lac ! Ce bâtiment emblématique accueillait autrefois le Hansen House dans les années 1960 avant de devenir le Billy’s Lighthouse, lieu de prédilection pour les nombreux habitants de Long Lake et de ses quartiers de la banlieue ouest. Il est resté à l'abandon depuis 2006, jusqu'à sa nouvelle reconversion par le restaurateur local Burton Joseph et le maître brasseur local Brennan Greene. Great food, excellent service and a fabulous view makes this a fantastic option for brunch or any meal. I highly recommend the Corn Arepa salad!

It was quite noisy at the restaurant but was still happy hour when we arrived. Our server Marty, was wonderful! He made sure we had what we needed and was very attentive. Our meals were fabulous as well. Our only wish is that you still had Benny Weinbeck at the piano bar-we used to LOVE that.

Enjoyed a very nice evening celebrating a birthday. Started downstairs in the pub with a beer. Had a nice time with AJ who was new. Very good service with very nice people. Moved upstairs for dinner. Grouper was excellent and steak frites were perfectly prepared. Will be visiting again soon. A number of items on new summer menu look too good to miss.

We always enjoy our visit to Birch's. The lakeview is great, so it the food and service. A nice, quiet, small-town feel visited by mostly local patrons. It is exactly what my wife and I seek when dining out.

Celebrated my son’s 40th birthday with our respective wives and their two boys. Had an excellent server in Mindy and received extra attention from managers on site. Food, as always, was excellent!

Environment was fairly quiet. Our food was excellent, including dessert of bread pudding. We even received a nice anniversary gift/recognition from the restaurant which we will definitely use.

We both had the 6 oz filet and it was wonderful. we dined with another couple and the room was full of other diners. It was very noisy. We'll be back.

Had a great time at Birch’s. Hadn’t been for a while and definitely will put back on our return to list. Had the Salmon and was very good. Deserts were delicious and were big enough to share. Another person had crab cake and said was very good and beer cheese soup excellent. Will definitely return also liked the valet parking. Was prom night which might explain the noise for the night

We had a wonderful time! The only downside was that my steak was incredibly tough. I ordered it medium and it came over done, completely over cooked throughout the entire steak. I ended up cutting it up for my dog.

Birches is lovely. Unfortunately the food was not great. My husband got the chicken & ribs dinner. The 2 piece’s of chicken were super tiny - to the point of embarrassment considering what you are paying for the dish. Plus his cheddar biscuit was so hard you couldn’t bite into it. My walleye was good, but they gave me a small scoop of potatoes that were just barely warm. I love the atmosphere but it’s not worth dropping $150 on a meal when it’s not good. Advice: Just go for the drinks and view.

We love Birches! Been there many times without incident. Our luck ran out last night. The bartender was the server for our booth and she seemed to be struggling. Forgetting drinks, bringing the wrong drinks and then telling my husband he didn’t order anything. Ordering food was struggle as well. We felt very much like an after thought which has never been the case before. The person that brought out our food, filled our waters was very polite and prompt. We wished we could have tipped him.

No service for 15 minutes after being seated. Server was polite but transactional. Ambiance in the back room by the exit door wasn’t great. Steak on the salad had zero sear, pan probably wasn’t hot enough. Lamb pasta dish just wasn’t good. Burger and bolognese were tasty though. Prices are pretty steep here, especially when sitting in a back room with little view of the lake.

1st time there with a pal for my bday celebration. Supposed to be 1/2 price bottles of vino on Thursdays. Waitress charged us full price. The food was HORRIBLE! Biscuits were hard as rocks. Ribs were cold. Upcharge for all white meat chicken (but not told to us until we got the bill). No bday dessert. We will not be returning. The view of the lake is great!

I've dined here several times as I have a friend who lives in Long Lake. It's our "go to" place for celebrating birthdays. To be honest, this is the first time that I've been disappointed in the food. I ordered the corned beef hash. The serving consisted of large cubed chunks of corned beef and potatoes (with onions and spices) and was covered with 2 eggs on top and a piece of dry toast on the side. To me, it just wasn't HASH. I asked for some grape jelly (and was served strawberry...allergic to that). The service was excellent.

The waitress was very helpful and very friendly. She helped us without making a "big deal" out if it. We are in the late 70's and my wife needed to use a cane. The other staff members are a credit to themselves and the food business. All went very well as they served a large number of guests. The food was very good. There was a large quantity, and it was kept fresh.

Another great meal with exceptional service from Marty and Amy at the bar. Jessica was also great and stopped to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Couldn’t ask for better! We will be back soon!

Nice place for dinner with a great view of Long Lake. Be sure to go early enough so you can enjoy the scenery. But be aware that Birch's is not for the budget conscious diner - Prime Rib Special(?) is $60 for 12 oz cut and Friday Fish Fry is $36 - about twice as much as a typical Wisconsin Supper Club's price.

We had a truly enjoyable Saturday evening! Great meal, drinks, and ambiance. Our server was Chris, in the dining room of the supper club. He described menu options and recommendations, and was extensively versed in the creative brewery selections, as well. It is clear he genuinely enjoys sharing his knowledge of ingredients and flavor, takes great interest in Birch’s cuisine and beverages, and prioritizes customer satisfaction. This was refreshing, and I wanted to make special mention of our positive experience! We will return in the near future.

Chris provided exceptional service. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, especially the craft beers. Portions of the fish fry were very generous! The prime rib was tasty and prepared perfectly. The steelhead trout special was delicious. Creme brûlée and apple bread pudding were great endings to our meal. Favorite drinks are the espresso martini, spiced maple old fashioned, coffee chocolate golden ale. We have never had a disappointing meal here. Kudos to Chris again!

Their manager Jeff and his team members Kari and Martin are the best in the business. I can’t say enough great things about the level of service the team provides throughout the entire experience. The food…..top notch quality. The scallops are some of the cleanest and flavorful I’ve had. The bolognese is absolutely wonderful and the flatbread was light and crispy. This combination is why we go back time and time again. Well done team!

Our food was very good and all came out very hot. We ordered a flatbread as a started and it came out minutes before our meal. Our server was just OK. She lacked some energy and only stopped by our table when needed.
