I typically have amazing meals at Big City Tavern. Have eaten there probably 30 times over the years. Perhaps it was simply because it was a very busy Mother's day brunch ... but the food and mimosas were awful! I typically order an omelet, but decided to try something different. My daughter, my mother, and I all ordered the same thing ... the Andouille Sausage Skillet. It sounded good, but was more than a bit bland. We ended up adding a little Tabasco, which helped - some. The potatoes were overdone and the eggs were more of an afterthought. I can't comment about the andouille sausage. We found out on our ride home, while discussing our food ... my daughter's meal was all sausage and no potatoes, and my mother and I had all potatoes and no sausage... like ZERO SAUSAGE, as in not even one tiny piece in our whole meals! $16 for an egg over bland potatoes???? Not great on quality control there. We're not complainers, so, my mom and I picked at our food and let it be. Pretty sure my daughter ate most of her sausage laden meal. Even that being said, none of us will order this again. As for the mimosas ... I'm not typically picky, but they were so watered down, you could neither taste the "champagne" nor the orange juice. In fact, I found them extremely bitter and slightly stomach turning on my first sip. I switched to a Peach Bellini, which was only a marginal improvement. Both "bottomless" drink options were served room temperature or above, which we all iced down, further watering down already nasty watered-down drinks. I'd give the mimosa zero stars and the Peach Bellini maybe 1 or 1.5 stars at best. Wish I had skipped the bottomless swill and just ordered a single good drink! Perhaps that's their plan? The only truly redeeming quality was our lovely waitress. She was very attentive, considering how busy she was ... and earned her 25% tip, despite the horrible food and drinks (not her fault).

Our overall experience was Fair. Our party of 6 went for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. We order a large cheese board but was disappointed with the portion size which included a few small slice of cheese, bread and some dried fruit and nuts. Our brunch was tasty and hot but slow to come out. Service was lackluster. Probably won't go back for brunch

I dine in to Big City at 4 - 5 times a year. This last visit I felt mislead. The bottomless mimosa is on open table at $15. However, when I showed this to the waiter his answer was it can’t be honored. I truly think it’s not right and felt mislead. I feel that if the price is listed, it should be honored. Please let me know if there is something that can be done. I really want to feel happy and enjoy my experience if I decide to return. Thank you Conrad

I cannot say enough good things about our dinner! Hostess and waiter were pleasant and welcoming. Brussels sprout appetizer was perfectly cooked. Delmonico with mashed potatoes and asparagus was excellent. Highly highly recommend Big City Tavern. Cannot wait to go back!

Our server Daniel was extremely negative. He was complaining about the lack of tip he received from his previous guest and if we ordered a hamburger it probably wouldn’t be cooked right. In addition, our order took over an hour before we received it. Guest who came in later received their order before we did. I will never let him serve me again and won’t be back for a long while.

A cozy spot with good brunch options a pinch of elegance. Bottomless peach bellinis are my go to, one of the only restaurants in Fort Lauderdale that offer them. Food is pretty good across the board, service usually quick and staff friendly. Would recommend!

It was not a great experience and I will never go back My daughters salad was filled with onions even though she asked for no onions My sons burger was well done even though he asked for medium My dad's sandwich had bacon on it and he asked for no bacon. My salad was vial

Great service and food. Manager did her walkthroughs and ensured everyone was being looked after and ask if we need anything.

Burgers and truffle fries were awesome. Shrimp pad Thai very good. Busy night. Loud and difficult to hear so if you were hearing aids or are sensitive be aware. Service was slow. Had to flag down other waiters to get drink refills and second ordered beers were forgotten about.

We had wonderful seats, kind of outside but not really, so just right. The waiter was wonderful. All meals were great and one of us got the lobster mac and cheese and posted it on Facebook it was so good!

Brandon was our waiter for our first dinner at Big City Tavern. He was great. He was helpful with the menu and a good sport with our big group. The food was great! The pork chop was amazing. A few of us got the burger and really liked it. The strip steak was also good with a nice serving of chimichurri sauce. All in all a good night.

Hostess and sever were great, but we didn’t get any food for 45 months and our entrees were served within 90 seconds of appetizer hitting the table. The calamari was tender, but breading was just falling off before you could get it on a fork. The chicken Milanese seems like a breaded Sysco patty. Thick and flavorless. Accompanying salad was overdressed. Restaurant itself has an unpleasant odor so we sat outside, even though it was a bit cool. Menu is pretty limited. Many other choices on Las Olas, so I won’t be back.

This is always one of our favorite spots when we come to Ft Lauderdale. This was our first so-so experience. First of all could not get anybody’s attention at the bar, which was about 2/3 full. One of the bartenders was more interested in talking with other customers while seemingly ignoring us. When we were seated for dinner, one of the orders was incorrect and it took quite a bit of time to get that corrected. We lived Grace as our server. Very fun and energetic. Rest of the experience was just okay—which was a big surprise for us.

Good food and prices and service could not be better. Also, there is plenty of parking in the back.
