Attentive staff who went the extra mile in terms of making a 10th birthday memorable. Good menu knowledge, great idea for the children to "make your own" pizza and sundae. Could not have been more helpful, engaging and professional. Just lovely. Thanks! We'll be back! 👍👏

Waited a long time for food to arrive,only the second table seated sonot busy a 5pm, the child's starter veg sticks n dip not good celery too stringy for a child to eat,child's desert donuts and choc sauce the choc sauce tasted awful, adults deserts not good crumble fruit hard in big unappealing chunks, hardly any crumble ,sticky toffee pudding worst one I have ever had, the overall experience not great.

excellent service and the breakfast and dinner where also of a high standard the staff are vert welcoming and courteous rooms are of a decent size and very clean.

Stayed at Big blue before always found the staff helpful and friendly, and the service is what you would expect, 👍 the rooms are clean and beds are comfortable and refreshed every day, Breakfast is self serving so it’s up to you what you choose , Good choice to choose from as does the main restaurant menu .

What started as a lovely meal food very nice but the service was so slow getting our deserts and gave up after ordering second beer as they never came , I think they needed more staff which is a let down as never had this problem before and we have been a number of times

Breakfast was lovely and they catered for my food intolerance. You have to wait a little longer for a special order but it was freshly cooked and very tasty.

Staff really friendly and helpful. Food was great, we ate off the al a carte at night and enjoyed it. During the day we had bar snacks, sandwiches and eggs Benedict, again well worth the money in our opinion .

Dined here before, as usual great service and good food. Restaurant manager remembered us and even what drink I usually order.
