Located at the heart of the Ritchie community, our Brewery-Restaurant serves contemporary European influenced plates using high quality seasonal ingredients. Our menu is created to reflect the quality and uniqueness of Blind Enthusiasm's beers.

Saturday & Sundays are walk-in only from 10AM until 5PM. Exceptions are: if you are planning to join us with a group of FIVE or more people, please call the restaurant at 587.525.8589 to have us set aside a large table for your group.

Reservations are encouraged outside of those times.

I had sourdough bread (I am biased towards good salted butter on bread so the accompaniment didn't work for me), steak tartare, compressed pork hock and semifreddo. All were meticulously prepared and flavorful. Our server was patient and friendly. I can't wait to go back the next time I am in Edmonton.

Dishes are not large, but that's a plus and minus -- makes it more expensive, but you can try more dishes, and we did. The presentation and flavours were exceptional, and gives me exactly what I'm looking for in a dining experience. Service was first rate, and I really like the ambiance of the place. Highly recommend.

We came to support a fundraising dinner and had the best service from all staff, especially Helena and Caroline! The trout carpaccio, mushrooms and salads were absolutely delicious, and the cookies with rum cream sauce were a decadent dessert. The beers we tried paired very well with the food, and the Business (finished in brandy barrels) was a perfect after dinner drink.

This was a wonderful evening. Just enough ambiance and the food was wonderful! I had the fromage blanc and squash dumplings and my husband has the grilled ACME chicken. The dumplings were amazing. We also had the bread and a crémeux cheese, yum! And to end off we had a chocolate mousse and a chocolate cookie with rum crème anglaise, again…YUM! I had a Zee beer and my husband a flight. Nice beers! Very enjoyable all around

Great dining experience! Food and service, for my wife’s birthday, was excellent! We started with the trout carpaccio and absolutely loved it, a taste sensation! We then took our waiter’s recommendation and had the pressed pork and joked that it came looking a bit like decorated spam, but it was quite delicious. Next came the grilled ACME chicken, very tender and good flavour. Last was the maitake mushroom; though very good and well prepared, it did not stand out, in my opinion, as the other dishes. To drink, we had the Union Bhoys Lager as Royal Cherry & Raspberry and were very happy with both! The decor allowed for sound to reflect off many surfaces so we found it quite loud and difficult to have a quiet conversation. Also, the chairs, though quite modern in design, were not comfortable. Overall it was an excellent dining experience and we plan to return! We had been wanting to come to Biera for years, and are very happy we came!

The small plates were creatively prepared and really activated the taste buds! The endive salad had a very delicious sweet dressing and pistachio puree to counter the bitterness of the salad. Cucumber salad also very interesting with whipped ricotta and dried shrimp topping, trout melted in the mouth, mushrooms prepared in a gravy were very rich and full of flavour. Very nice room with lots of natural light, easy cool vibe. My criticism would be the wine choices by the glass are lacking, very poor quality but e pensive. I guess if one finds here, have the beer from the working brewery on the premises!

I’ve eaten here a number of times and each time the experience has been extraordinary. This time I hosted eight or nine of my staff and once again the experience was well above expectations. The food was amazing, but more importantly, the staff were very warm and welcoming, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I would like to thank Aaron our server who attended to us last night. He was fantastic and really took care of us. Once again, thank you to everybody at Beira for creating such a great culinary experience for me and my team. You have created something special. Jay B.

Can I give ten stars for service!?! My mom and I felt like we were the only people in the busy restaurant. Our server took the time to get to know us and to make excellent suggestions. The food was, as always, delicious - thank you for taking an ordinary outing and elevating into something my mom and I will discuss for weeks.

If you are looking for outstanding food and craft beer, this is the place first you! I’ll be going back for sure. The patio looks like it is fantastic in the summer.

Time after time, Biera knocks it out of the park. The food is delicious, the service amazing, and cocktails and beers are well done. We really enjoyed the new pork dish and the updated dumplings. The trout carpaccio is probably my favourite dish in the city right now. When it comes to service we have always been impressed here. To a point that we compare all other experiences to the service received at Biera, and few other places come close. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, and very knowledgeable about the food, beer, wine, and menu. Some people find the prices steep but we have always felt the pricing to be very fair when you consider the exceptional food, fantastic service, and great beverages.

Great food and service! Server was amazing in explaining and recommending menu items. We had a few small plates with a flight of beer and wine, perfect proportions for an early dinner. Food was unique and tastefully done. Highly recommend for foodies wanting something outside of the ordinary. A bit pricy but worth it.

Best restaurant in Edmonton, might be one of the best in Canada. Beautiful tartare and great smoke flavour other dishes. Pairs really well with their beers. Delicious ‘milk and cookies’ to finish off the meal. Highly recommend this place!

Fantastic food - so wonderfully balanced and interesting. The beers are diverse, perfectly described and very tasty. We were there on a weeknight - not noisy but not creepily quiet. A great night out!

Honestly, you cannot go wrong with Biera. Their experimental menu and their selections in general are top tier. There is not one thing on that menu that would be a “bad” choice and it was just an amazing time with amazing and knowledgeable staff

I have been before and ordered items I’ve had before. They were excellent previously! Talked a friend into coming. They didn’t enjoy either. Staff were excellent. Maybe kitchen just had an off night. Will try them again for sure.

Interesting menu for both drinks and food. Plates are meant to be shared family style so you do get to try a variety. Service was a bit slow as it was busy. Tables were a bit close together for our liking as you don’t get a lot of privacy to your conversations. Good experience otherwise and definitely would return.

The food exceeded our expectations. My partner and I have been a fan of Blind Enthusiasm for a while and knew we would love the beer but the food was exceptional. Every dish was super unique and all of the flavours were balanced so perfectly. Particularity the semifreddo (recommended by our server) was so unique and delicious. The service was perfect. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. It’s pricey but well worth it.

Service was good. Atmosphere fine but food was underwhelming. Chicory salad was way too bitter (I expected some bitterness, of course, but it was too much). The salad could have used more sweetness or acid to cut through that bitterness. Pork shoulder was mediocre but not worth $42. Mushroom dish was the best of all three and the cookies/creme anglaise dessert was good. We left there saying we probably wouldn't go back there. Disappointed as had quite high reviews.

My husband and I return regularly for the steak tartare. I have never tasted it better anywhere else. Our waitress was great. She was there when we needed, but was not over the top. She recommended a wine after listening to our tastes, and was bang on! We recommend Biera to everyone.

The food tasted amazing. The only thing is I would order a full size chicken for 4 people and the steak .

Biera has a great menu with plenty of vegetarian options that were as well thought out and as tasty as their meat options. They have a really great, comprehensive menu.
