Bien Mérité offers High Tea Time Experiences year around. It's a unique combination of a fine European tradition combined with a delicate French twist. Embracing the spirit of the holiday season, our menu is thoughtfully crafted to invoke both delight and intrigue. This includes your choice of one fine tea (may substitute tea for our padre pink or lavender lemonade), One Glass of Champagne per person, two mini scones of the day with jam & butter, a macaron, an éclair, an apple tart , a cream puff, a chocolate petit four, and tea sandwiches. High tea is $50/per person.

Mommy & Me tea include, freshly baked croissant and scones served with house-made jam & butter. Your choice of any 5 of our finest pastries including macarons, beignets, petit fours, and cream puffs. Your choice of one of the following teas: Jasmine, Lemon Ginger, Peppermint, Earl Gray, Paris Black Tea, and Breakfast Blend Black Tea. (may substitute tea for our Padre Pink or Lavender Lemonade) also included in this Tea Time experience is a bottle of Martinelli’s Organic Sparkling Cider. Mommy & Me Tea is $35/per person.

I had a lovely night eating their Beef bourguignon and Pissaladière. The Pissaladière was not the most ideal. Yes it is suppose to be doughy, I just felt like if it was served just slightly warmer I'd enjoy it more. It is a flatbread which is made in house probably. Most likely needs to be served a certain way and I don't know. The flavors though were good. That Beef Bourguignon though!!!! Very delicious and just peels off! Very Tender! Maybe I'm biased so I am mixed. However the service was amazing! Thank you to our waitress. We were celebrating my friends academic achievements. I loved their house Prosseco! So delish! Thank you so much!

I expected to walk in and say we were there for the party and they knew what I was talking about but they had no idea what I was talking about. when we ordered pasta after we had ordered it, we were told they didn’t have any so that was fine. I understand that happens sometimes, but I feel like you should know that before you take an order what you have and what you don’t have all our food didn’t come out at once, which was kind of funny because the one person that did put in the burger order they didn’t have the change of food got her food last. we were party of six but not demanding I feel that the waitress tried her best but I feel like maybe she needed more help I feel like if you’re weight staff has a party that big as management you should ask them if they need any help that they could reach out and I felt like she didn’t have any help. It was not busy at all. I think there was only two other tables which were small tables, so I don’t understand why anybody couldn’t help her. I had a friend have a birthday party there and she said it was the best highly recommended it so I was very disappointed. I expected more especially that the food orders were pretty much for burgers and two bagels so it wasn’t difficult food to put out.

I’ve had a proper High Tea in Europe, The Middle East and Asia so I wanted to try the Mommy & Me experience for Mother’s Day. This is a public service announcement to NEVER BOOK AN EXPERIENCE HERE! Save yourself the money as it is not worth it. First off, we were on time to check in at 1:25 pm for our reservation at 1:30. We had to wait over half an hour for a table and then be told they ran out of food that should’ve been reserved for me and my family. I prepaid $128.78 with an automatic 18% gratuity for ZERO experience and slow service. After an hour, we had no choice but to order food from the actual menu because I was already hungry and angry. We got 6 pieces of sweets and a pot of lavender lemonade plus 1 refill. The manager did nothing to make things right except add an extra Beignet which was an insult. There were plenty of Macarons on display at the front to be sold and could’ve been used to make up for it. My daughter-in-law wanted to order French toast but again, they ran out. How do you run out of bread on Mother’s Day which is one of the busiest restaurant days outside of Christmas and New Year’s?! The waitress was also slow. She kept forgetting to bring my granddaughter a child-sized cup and didn’t bring us utensils. I had to get it myself from the front. I should not have to be doing your job. At least the waitress tried apologizing when the owner and management should’ve planned better for Mother’s Day to accommodate the high volume of customers. HOW DO YOU RUN OUT OF FOOD THAT WAS PRE-PAID?! There is nothing to justify what I paid for in advance for what little I got and a horrendous experience that should’ve been memorable for me, my daughter-in-law and my granddaughters. I’ll never dine here again. Unless the pastries and desserts are made in France or any country that’s under British rule or formerly under British rule such as Hong Kong, I’m better off just going abroad for better food and service. At least I’ll be given a proper tea experience.

Food/Drinks are amazing. The staff is inviting and knowledgeable of the menu. The environment is nice and relaxing.

The service was really slow. Drinks took about 20 minutes. The avocado in the kale salad was either frozen or not yet ripe and inedible.

This was a birthday brunch and all of our first time there. It was by far the best brunch place with awesome service. Our server even bought us a pastry for our birthday. She was so nice. Will definitely be going back and recommending this place.

I would not recommend high tea. Service was not good. Value of food for the price was not good. It was a big disappointment. In my previous experience with Bein Merite I was very pleased so I had great expectations. The pastries were good but the tea sandwiches were dried up up and nothing special. We received one glass of champagne, one pot of tea, no milk or sugar, no refills on water. For three people, 2 croissants and 7 pasteries. We could have just ordered pasteries and tea and gotten a much better value for the money. The pasteries were excellent though. I will never do high tea with Bein Merite again. I have done high tea at places in Houston and it was a truly great event and experience. I was disappointed with the experience at Bein Merite. Don’t waste your money.

We had a wonderful breakfast. The food was spectacular. Service was quick. Servers were kind and knowledgeable. Already planning a tea service for my daughter’s birthday.

It was great, the food was very tasty. The only problem is it’s very expensive, of course you get tea, treats and mini sandwiches, but 50-60 a person is a little much. (And that’s not including if you get an add on like champagne, that’s like another $100) I love it, I love the food, workers, and restaurant overall, but it almost woulda been cheaper to buy everything separately.
