Bianca is a modern American restaurant and bar in Chestnut Hill that specializes in wood grilling, wood fire pizza, and a variety of dishes inspired by global flavors and cuisines. Bianca means a clean slate, a virtual white plate primed for delicious expression and ready to transport you to far off places. From classic dishes done with care to the truly unique, Bianca presents a luxe dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere that is as comfortable as our own homes. Owners Chef Tim Cushman and Restaurateur Nancy Cushman are the husband & wife team behind James Beard Award Winning o ya and Hojoko in Boston.
RESERVATION POLICY: If you need to cancel, notify 24 hours prior to your reservation to avoid a $15 per person cancellation fee. Children 12 & under must have an adult(18+) at the table.
A 20% gratuity will be added to all parties larger than 6.
Our patio is open seasonally. We do not take patio reservations, but will seat reservations at the next available patio table if requested.

The only thing that was a bit off was the ice cream that was given to my son for his affogato. He removed one of the two scoops he was given into an empty glass and that scoop didn’t melt for the 20m that it took us to finish desert and leave. The scoop that ended up in his coffee turned into cottage cheese, so we’re not sure what was going on with this so called “ice cream”, but it didn’t behave appropriately.. otherwise everything was fine.

Salmon was delicious. Rest of meals in group were also very good. Service for drinks was slow, but food came quickly. Good vibe at Bianca!

Food is good not service was not good. the first waiter left us then a second one came to help and at the end a very nice person came and finished. Waited 25 minutes for cup of coffee and 40 minutes for food, no one came to check on us, portions are small and overpriced.

Our friends loved the fact that we came here and they got to know Bianca. They/we all loved the place, ambiance, the food and the most tasty desserts and the best original drinks. Great place in all categories.

Really flavorful menu. The mushroom French dip Is crazy delicious. Pizzas are perfectly crisp. Someone at our table had the chicken and said it was fantastic.

The experience was awful- never been before and was excited to try something new and based on online menu. Service was awfully slow and when finally got our order, the experience got worse: wayu burger should not be called a burger but a slider, absolutely minuscule. The tuna burger…the tuna was a sliver of a steak in a tiny bun. And the spicy tuna roll that seemed taken out of a supermarket sushi bar. In general very tiny portions for the price in a super loud environment. The vibe of the restaurant is confusing, is it tropical? Italian? Asian fusion? Definitely will not be coming back.

Service was wonderful and accommodating. Food was spectacular, except that the latke on the brunch menu came out cold ish and could use additional seasoning. Otherwise wonderful dining experience!

Loved the drinks and the hummus and pita was fabulous! Entrees were good, large portions . Service staff was very pleasant ! Will definitely be back!

I had the chopped smoked chicken and blue cheese salad. It was one of the best salads I have ever had. Really unique and flavors well balanced and the vegetables were all fresh. Friendly service and a pretty bright atmosphere. I will be back!

Thank you for a great dinner at Bianca's! The hostess was very gracious, and the waitress was very helpful in narrowing down the many options on the menu. We enjoyed the wood grilled cauliflower, caesar salad, wild mushroom tagliatelle and Faroe Island salmon. We were too full for dessert, but would love to come back again just to try the wood fired pizza and dessert!

The mushroom pasta I had was an exact replica of the Trader Joe’s vegan bolognese at 10x the price - the wagyu burger was fine, but not worth the money. Despite being overstaffed the service was abysmal. Overall awful experience, would not return.

Waited at the bar & several staff members walked by us & we were consistently overlooked & ignored. we decided to take our business elsewhere.

The servers were fantastic and the food was amazing! We got the Al la vodka pizza and pasta and both were chef’s kiss! We also got a bread and cheese app and a nonalcoholic cocktail and those were also yummy. Would recommend!

This is a lovely place with a nice family friendly atmosphere. Menu looks very interesting with the diverse mix of Japanese inspired in Italian dishes . We had an appetizer that was delicious. However, both our mains were quite mediocre unfortunately.

Really wanted to like this place because it’s so convenient. I cannot even say that the food was bad per se, just totally bland. There were 3 of us and each dish was tasteless, I don’t believe any seasoning was used at all. Disappointing!

Everything was just lovely except the service was not. For example one of the people in our party asked for cream for their coffee which they didn’t have and after multiple requests was finally given milk but by the time it came the coffee was cold so they had to get fresh coffee. And there were more similar annoyances. Otherwise the ambience, food and everything was great.

Dinner w my sister last night, service was terrific ~ Receptionist kindly gave us a booth once I asked and our server was delightful, good knowledge of the menu & easygoing sense of humor ~ Food was good but not wow, we shared burrata app (not much flavor even w the fruit, stale crostini), I had short rib rigatoni (ok) & sis had the grilled shrimp (romesco meh)~ This aside, we did enjoy our evening very much!

My fiance and I have been to Bianca twice already. The food and drinks are always outstanding and delicious. I highly recommend the woodfire pizza. Service wise - the servers take a little while to get your order started and to bring the drinks. They however check in with you often to make sure things are alright and they promptly clean the table. I also want to give a shoutout to the managers as they always tend to go around and check in with each table. It makes us feel like valued customers. The one thing I didn’t like was the fact that the host stand is in the back of the restaurant from Boylston street so you have to walk all the way to the back to get sitted. Overall-great experience and atmosphere. We’ll be back!

The service was very slow and couldn't get anyone's attention when a few things were delivered with missing items. Our waited never checked back on our table and it was also over an hour to order dinner after getting appetizers. It was busy but not crowded so not sure was service was so slow.

The food was really, really excellent, but it took a really long time to arrive. I appreciated that managers came to check in with us once it was clear there was an unusual delay, but they didn't really acknowledge that there was a delay or that it might be inconvenient. I would recommend Bianca to people as the drinks are great and you could chit chat through the delay, but if you have a small kid it would be hard.

The Meat Me at Bianca is an outstanding blend of flavors on an thin yet chewy dough and backed in a traditional Neapolitan style wood burning oven. The combination of sausage, pepperoni, poppini mushrooms and fresh mozzarella on a fresh tomato sauce is ideal. Drinks are a bit more expensive than at similar restaurants, but something has to cover the rent at this large comortable restaurant
