The food took long to come out. One person received their entree and the others at the table entree didn’t arrive until 20 minutes later. Cost of entree was overpriced.

The price of the food was over value. We ordered chicken to go and it was not done. My brussel sprouts were over cooked and took away from the flavor. Although the ambience was amazing, the food didn’t match.

Celebrating a 66th birthday with my sister, the experience did not meet MY standards for a second visit. Upon entering, the smile & greeting I extended was not reciprocated by the lady seated at the front. My party of 2 reservation was not sat upon my 1220 arrival due to my other party not being present so I was instructed to stand in the compact doorway until my entire party arrived (odd but ok). Once seated I was informed even with reservations made on OpenTable it’s better to call because they do not review what’s input even after confirmations are made. I was also informed my downstairs seating request was limited to 1h 15m due to other reservations but if I moved upstairs we could stay longer. Management, it’s good to list caveats on Open Table so patrons are aware. Our waiter Sunny provided impeccable service, he was attentive and provided the smiles missed upon entering the establishment & during seating. Sunny seemed very happy to help us enjoy my sister’s sweet 66th birthday lunch. There are serval ways the experience can improve for others: I encourage building up customer service at the front of the house, assigning ownership of processes & tasks to ensure every experience is beyond sweet, aligning phone & online reservations to ensure there’s no overlap and adding all disclaimers so patrons are aware. The space has character with modern decor and gold accents, a young adult scene. I recommend the Salmon Bites (tasty) and the Dallas House Salad. There were several meals that went by that looked appealing. The birthday woman enjoyed the Wings & Salmon Bites too. No dessert offered I’m assuming due to the time restraint. Best of luck with continuous growth!!

My overall experience was bit of a let down. The decor was nice but that's where it stopped. Unfortunately the appetizers were bland and the entree presentation was lacking. The table settings only consisted of a fork wrapped in a paper napkin, we had to request knives. The servers and greeters were really nice, that was a plus. The quality presented doesn't meet the price point.

Great service! The food was amazing! My friend had jerk wings & I had the chicken thigh meal. 10/10 The music was GREAT! The entire space was beautiful and inviting. We also LOVED the selfie set up. We spent a good amount of time in front of the camera! We will be recommending to others as well as returning!

Finally was able to get in for Sunday brunch, and we had a wonderful time. The food and service were great. The band was wonderful as well. Our next reservations are already made!

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our visit from beginning to end. I cannot express enough how refreshing and wonderful it is to have a brunch option such as Beyond Sweet that caters to the uniqueness of my particular demographic (culturally, socio economically, financially and Fashion wise). The grown and sexy vibe was just…chef’s kiss 👌🏽❤️

I was excited about our brunch reservation on a Saturday, because a friend ate there the week before. The restaurant is very nice, tastefully decorated and the server was very kind. I understand and respect having rules to ensure your dining experience is as enjoyable as possible, but some of their rules are a little extreme in my opinion. 1 hour before our noon reservation, I received a call regarding the “dress code”. Fortunately I was dressed appropriately so I educated the rest of my party. It’s a Saturday afternoon after a long week of work and the last thing that is appealing is being told what is acceptable dress. Especially when I’m spending money. This should’ve been communicated when I made the reservation. Strike one. We had 2 separate reservations so when we asked if we can move over or our other party move over a table, so we could chat without disturbing the people in between-who weren’t there yet- the answer was was resounding no. I understand that each table is assigned to a server ahead of time but logically, we didn’t get it. Strike two. Our food took some time to get there. The vegan rice, Mac and cheese and truffle fries were good. I ordered the flaming drunk-which never caught on fire-but that’s ok. The hostess advised us while being seated we only had a 2 hour window to eat and drink. Once again-we understood why but there is no flexibility and this should’ve been communicated when the reservation was made. Our server didn’t come back to the table for over 30 minutes At 204pm, as we are paying our checks, here comes the hostess asking how much longer we are going to be. Are you kidding me? Soooo the next party for the table we were sitting at couldn’t sit at an empty table while we were paying? I was going to suggest to my friends that we go downstairs and sit at the bar and finish our conversations. But nah. That was strike three. Food was overpriced. Drinks are overpriced. Ambiance was nice, but I won’t be back.

My husband and I try a new restaurant every weekend. Let me tell you!-Just go here! The BEST customer service I’ve ever had and the owner, Dallas is so sweet and her dishes are just as creative as her decor. My favorite part of the ambiance was the R and B playing! So fun! Only suggestion would be to add more savory cocktails. 🙌🏼🫶🏼

Everything was outstanding from the food to the decorations they played good music in the customer service was very nice in most definitely will be back I give everything a 10/10 because that place was beyond beautiful

The ocean plunge is delicious, along with that I had the Cajun salmon with asparagus, Mac and cheese and mashed taters… everything was delicious. I got the shrimp and salmon fried rice to go, which was also really good. The margarita flights were great and the service was so nice and professional!!! I will definitely be back……

I took my grandma here for her birthday she enjoyed everything the bottle service was very good she had some exclusive local wine that tasted top tier . I am vegan and it was heaven with the options . Love this place will come back

If you are looking for a nice brunch place to go to for your birthday or just to go! I recommend Beyond Sweets + Kitchen Bar . I really enjoyed the music , the drinks & the food! Overall this was a good brunch place to be at!

Had a great time for my Friend birthday! They made it special with the singing & lit cupcake! The food was amazing I had the catfish & polenta loved it. I’ve already booked my next reservation for brunch on a Sunday!

My table was cleaned out at exactly 7:30 I advised the waiter I was just taking a pic. Our bags of food we were taking with us was on the table and my drink. My drink was taken and I was not finished. Not good for a $16.00 drink. Also I think they are in such a hurry to get you out after you have sent your money as they were reaching over you to take your plates away. Not good customer service. Also the floors were very nasty. Also the waitress put in the wrong price to charge me and was not aware she had input the wrong. Manager had to get involved.?another person at our table had the same thing but again they had to get the manager involved. These items were a turnoff. I will return but I am hoping these service issues will be resolved. Sincerely

The ambience is always exceptional and the service was great along with the food. The wait time was very reasonable upon entrance I was greeted immediately and escorted to my table and within 5 minutes my server approached with a friendly vibe.

Overall the food and vibe was good but a little overpriced. It reminds me of a smaller version of Kocktail Kitchen. The chef took certain liberties with substituting items on our meals without notifying or asking. For instance, I ordered the short ribs with polenta. I have never had polenta and that was the only reason I order that particular dish. My meal arrived to the table with mash potatoes vs polenta. My waiter didn’t come back to our table for more 20 mins so I was forced to start eating my meal. He later told me the kitchen ran out of polenta. Also, my friend ordered the chicken meal; menu stated one thigh, leg, wing. Her plate consisted of 2 legs, 1 thigh. When asked she was told the kitchen ran out of wings. Again, in both instances we were not given the option to change our meal choice or agree to the alternative. Our drinks were never refreshed. Seemingly, this is a new small business, they have a lot of great things going but still need to work out some of the kinks.

Arrived at restaurant & was not seated at appropriate table. I had back surgery & can’t sit at high top table. They weren’t willing to seat us at a low table for two so we left. Not acceptable. They should state when making reservation if you would like a low table. I made this reservation months in advance! Poor customer service. Will not be back!

OMG…Everything from the time we walked in until we left was wonderful. First time and will not be the last time. Food was delicious, drinks were great and prices are reasonable for a night out. Whatever you do make a reservation and go visit.
