Bettys is famous for afternoon tea, and if you want to experience the finest we offer, book your table in the Belmont Room, York. This beautiful, historic room - located on the first floor of our York tea room - is steeped in history and provides the perfect setting for our most exquisite afternoon tea. You'll be serenaded by our pianist as you enjoy a selection of savouries, indulgent sandwiches, specially selected teas and irresistible dainty cakes and scones.     We had a lively time yesterday at Betty's nothing was too much trouble for the staff the waiter entered into banter with us throughout our time there we asked for more sandwiches and scones agai no problem just wish we had a Betty's in Liverpool but then we have an excuse to visit the lovely Yorkshire countryside

    Peaceful setting. Staff pleasant. Surprised to find could have extra savouries & drink refills in the price. Daughter celebrating forthcoming baby & other daughter a new job - they were both given a large Betty's chocolate coin as bonus.

    After months of planning we finally had afternoon tea at Betty's Tea Rooms. Our server Andrea was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Very good value and we'd love to return one day.

    This was our second visit to Betty’s as we’d come here five years ago for our 5th anniversary, this time it was for our 10th and we were overwhelmed by how beautiful and stunning the place still is. It really is a place to spoil yourself to once in a while and we will be making it a regular thing to come back and celebrate, hopefully for many years to come.
