These beautiful, historic rooms - located on the first floor of our Harrogate tea room- are steeped in history and provide the perfect setting for our most exquisite afternoon tea.

You'll be serenaded by our pianist as you enjoy a lavish selection of dainty sandwiches, specially selected teas and irresistible miniature cakes and scones.

It is a marvellous experience, service is exemplary, food is excellent - although I found the cake selection too sweet/sugary. Ideal venue for a celebration event, a little oldy worldly but a reminder of what good service should be. No use of phrases such as 'no problem ', 'mate', 'nice one' etc.

Imperial suite was amazing but one paid for the experience- but the waiters were very receptive to replenishing one’s plates when required

Perfect. All I can say really. We had heard about this place and it lived up to expectations. Service, food ambience all perfect, a little pricey but I guess you get what you pay for.

Booked an extra special birthday treat of afternoon tea for my wife and we weren't dissapointed, The food was delicious and atractively presented (extra plate of sandwiches because we were hungry!). having a choice of teas and being able to have more than one choice meant sampling a different tea with savory and sweet items - a bit like wine pairing! Happy and contented...

A fabulous experience from start to finish! All the staff were respectful and professional explaining the menu and being attentive at all times. The food itself was obviously freshly made and plenty of it! Our group did order extra sandwiches at no extra charge.👍 The selection of teas offered was exceptional. The pianist was an added bonus definitely adding to the relaxing ambience. A trip to Harrogate must include a visit to Betty’s!

Was not enough food or choice of filling very basic not value for money. I paid same price at the Ritz and Dorcester in London for afternoon tea but they had a fabulous selection of sandwiches and cakes. Quite disappointing 😞

First time to experience afternoon tea at Betty's Tearooms and wasn't disappointed in any way. The food was amazing, the service was first class, special thanks to Ann, you was a delight. Would highly recommend.

It was worth paying the additional amount for the experience so we didn't have to queue. Although the pianist was off sick the atmosphere in the room was lovely. The service was excellent and the afternoon tea was lovely and ypu have the choice of additional sandwiches.

Lovely afternoon tea. Wasn’t really impressed with the desserts. But I would go back again but not anytime soon as it’s a bit expensive I thought
