These beautiful, historic rooms - located on the first floor of our Harrogate tea room- are steeped in history and provide the perfect setting for our most exquisite afternoon tea.

You'll be serenaded by our pianist as you enjoy a lavish selection of dainty sandwiches, specially selected teas and irresistible miniature cakes and scones.

The overall experience was good. The food was good but a vegetarian and or pescatarian option from the start would have been helpful. Maybe providing alternatives on the wet menu. food was tasty and more opulent than the run of the mill afternoon teas. However it was a little expensive for what you actually received taking in the ambiance, the service and setting. Perhaps the cakes could have included an alternative to the macaroon which wasn’t particularly special or unusual. The service and staff were excellent. Thank you

We booked afternoon tea, food was fresh and tasty a little over priced for what it was, but it was nice for a treat or special occasion. Staff very friendly and efficient. Beautiful building. Not sure if possible because of the age of the building but might benefit from a lift as we had an elderly relative with us.

A lovely way to spend our last day in Harrogate. Very elegant. The staff were excellent & the tea delicious. The room was so elegant & the live piano accompaniment was lovely - not intrusive at all. We indulged in the champagne afternoon tea option. Afternoon Tea is always a relatively expensive option but worth it in this historic & glorious tea room

We were served by the lovely Diane, nothing was too much trouble. For a special birthday, we had a special day!

Afternoon tea in the Imperial room - silver service, background piano, big choice of teas. Lovely for an afternoon tea if you're visiting the town,, and though it's not cheap, you do get what you pay for in quality.

A truly lovely experience. I am talking about the room upstairs and not the Cafe down below. This was on my wife's bucket list and it did not disappoint. The room was lovely and we were made to feel very welcome. We were seated and introduced to our waiter, Louis. He was a very entertaining chap who could not do enough to please. What I particularly liked was the fact that if you wanted more sandwiches then you only had to ask. They were obviously wanting you to go away feeling satisfied with the service. I thought that the price was reasonable as the room was excellent with a pianist playing in the corner and it was all that we expected and more. Certainly Harrogate was a nice place to visit as well.
