The service from the start was great, we were seated immediately. Everything we ordered was great- top items were bone marrow pasta, ricotta gnocchi and any of the pizzas

Booked a standard seating table, gave us outside seat instead with no explanation why. Right next to front door where people were lingering around. Food prices expensive for portion size, very loud. Not as good as when it first opened years ago

This is one of the best restaurants I have been to in LA. I heard the customer service was outstanding and that is absolutely a FACT. Franklin was amazing. You have to try the ricotta with bread... I love that they have cookbooks available to purchase. But I could never compete with Bestia. They are the best.

What a wonderful foodie experience! We loved it all. The only negative was that the cooks/waiters were occasionally loud, but with an open kitchen I guess that’s to be expected.

It is SO loud. The food is incredible, but not worth the noise. Being ear plugs!

Bestia is always a great idea. Service, food and cocktails are all top notch. Bone marrow is perfection, the scallop crudo is delicious and the branzino is unmatched. These are just a few of our favorites but everything on the menu is delicious. Be sure to end your meal with the panna cotta for a light sweet finisher.

Went for dinner with a friend as we’ve been talking about going for some time. It had been over 10 years since I ate here and the service was great. We ordered the herb caesar salad which was excellent! The soppeessata & honey pizza was good, a little on the saltier side for our taste. Ambience is dim and restaurant gets loud when full. Street parking is relatively easy to find or you can valet for a $13 service charge. Will definitely return!

I had high expectations for my visit to Bestia and arrived early, hoping to enjoy a drink at the bar while waiting for my friend. However, I was told the bar was reserved for diners only, leaving no option but to wait outside. The outdoor waiting area, equipped with just a few benches and lacking any heating on a chilly night, felt unwelcoming. Despite this, a server did bring out a drink to where I was waiting. Once seated, our server took a while to take our orders. I chose the Lamb's Neck, and my friend opted for the squid pasta, which we initially considered sharing until we realized it contained lobster, which I am allergic to. We communicated this to our waiter. However, after my friend's dish arrived, mine took an additional 15-20 minutes. When I inquired with our waiter, I received an unhelpful shrug and a promise to check, yet the food still took time to arrive, making for an awkward dining experience as my friend was nearly finished eating by the time my meal was served. Expressing my concerns to the waiter elicited no real response, and a later conversation with the manager proved equally frustrating. The manager insisted that their family-style serving approach excused the service gaps, offering no apology or gesture of goodwill, even after I pointed out we hadn't been informed of this policy. This lack of consideration was disappointing, especially considering the premium price of the dining experience. Unfortunately, due to the lackluster service and the restaurant's apparent indifference to customer satisfaction, I am inclined not to return, knowing there are many other establishments that prioritize and value their customers more highly.

The food is amazing. Worth the price. The service was outstanding as well. It’s a bit tight in there- our table was super small but with that said, our servers were very attentive and quick about changing out our plates etc. Overall, it was an amazing and delicious experience.

From the moment my girlfriend and I arrived, everything about Bastia was best-in-class! The place was lively, energetic, but not crowded or too loud. The host was incredibly pleasant and welcoming. She walked us to our table, and in what seemed to be seconds, we were already being tended to. Every staff member on the floor went above and beyond their call of duty. From Frank offering my girlfriend hot water and lemons, to our waiter Daniel explaining the menu to us, providing recommendations, and being absolutely delightful. I have heard only great stories about Bestia, and tonight my girlfriend and I got to experience it firsthand. It was amazing! Ohhhh and the food is absolutely delicious!!! The salad, scallops, squid ink pasta, and the (best for last) the branzino! Incredible! Absolutely recommend! 5 stars!!!!

Service at Bestia is always top notch. I have never had any complaints about the servers. The staff go above and beyond to make sure their guests are happy. One of the many reasons we always come back here. Daniel was our server for tonight. We were celebrating two anniversaries and when we ordered desserts, they added a candle two of the desserts. What a nice touch. The only minor complaint we had was the black angus ribeye was a bit rare for us. We asked for medium rare, maybe next time we’ll order it medium plus.

Great Service Great Food Great Ambience The Best Bransino I’ve ever eaten. The Squid Ink pasta was Wonderful, and them damn warm donuts with the coffee icecream OMG. They make a great Caesar Salad too. I already have another reservation.

Unfortunately, we were running a bit late, but we called ahead of time and they were able to accommodate us with a lovely table. The front of house was absolutely understanding and fabulous. Was absolutely amazing. He knew the menu inside and out and was able to describe each dish, including his favorites. His recommendations were fabulous. The food was absolutely amazing and beyond my expectations in my partners we are definitely going to be booking her there is no question is one of Los Angeles restaurants

Overall it was a fine experience. I was a little displeased when I secretly found the back server to tell her a specific dessert I wanted them to bring out for my girlfriend (it was her birthday). I know my girlfriend would have tried to decline dessert so I told them to bring one out no matter what. They said of course and I thought everything was well until the very end they dropped off dessert menus anyway. My girlfriend of course declined and I guess they thought the plan was off. I again went and found the server and told them what happened and to still bring the dessert. They did which was nice, but brought out something other than the one I asked for. I was surprised to see at the end I was still charged for the dessert, especially since it wasn’t even the one I originally asked for. I’ve worked in restaurants for 10+ years and I guess I am just used to when we make a mistake to try and compensate for it. Not super impressed with how this happened and really just wanted a surprise at the end for my girlfriend’s birthday.

First time went there for a little anniversary celebration and it was pretty good. The food, the service, and the drink were all pretty good. The seats are not exactly comfy but I guess this is more of a trendy/hipster vibe where comfy was not the main focus. But overall still great experience. Will be back again :)

Pasta, pizza, cocktail and salad were so so good! But please skip the Prawns -just awful! I just had prawns at Masala & Maiz in MX City that puts that dish to shame. Just get something else if you go. Chocolate dessert was also not good. It all! But the real downer here is the ambience. It’s more like eating in a trashy club than a restaurant. It’s an industrial area after all but I have my limits. It has poor seating, very fast-paced and too, too fckng loud. Also, if you like pasta, order at least two dishes bc the tiny-teensy-baby-portions (well…they seem meant for babies) won’t be enough, and it’s SOO good that you’ll want more. Enjoy!

Food was excellent. Service was great, but depend on who you get, it might come with some attitude. Depends on you reservation time, park on streets to save $ & the chaotic valet (esp on weekends). Watch for traffic. The area can feel unsafe. Restaurant space was very tight and noise level was very loud. Reserve a month ahead if you wanna dine on weekends.

Booked this restaurant for my birthday! The food was amazing, will definitely visit again. Strongly recommend: Grilled Prawn, Squid Ink Pasta, Grilled Branzino, and the best dessert Crème Fraîche Panna Cotta🥰

Great second time visiting Bestia! We couldn't resist the Caesar Salad again - so delicious, perfectly presented and prepared! Also had the prawns which were amazing and a new addition to the menu. The clam pizza was phenomenal with just the right amount of heat. We also revisited the squid ink pasta because it is that good! The atmosphere is always full of energy and you can feel that everyone is enjoying their experience. All of the staff, both front and back of the house are informative, happy, and provide excellent service! Can't wait to come back next time we're in LA.

The herb dressing Caesar salad is amazing. A must-order. Had a great seat at the counter in front of the pizza oven and grill. What a show! Such a lively place. The only downside was that I was solo that night and couldn't order too much as I had no one to share with. I ended up giving my half a pizza to the women next to me! Bring back the orange semi-freddo! My fave LA restaurant. I always try to get a table when I'm in town and have brought friends there also.

Lillian is a great server making suggestions to us. We had the Caesar salad, ricotta dumplings with sausage and black truffle, branzino and panna cotta with Gaviota strawberries. a stellar meal for us. enjoyed my coffee as well.
