Le Bernini’s Bistro est le restaurant préféré des habitants de La Jolla depuis 17 ans. Il sert le déjeuner, le dîner et le souper, dont une grande variété de plats à des prix très abordables qui plairont à tous le monde. Vous pourrez goûter les pâtes bio faites maison, la pizza cuite au feu de bois, le steak ou les fruits de mer. Vous aurez la possibilité de venir nombreux sans réservation pour un brunch le samedi et le dimanche (aucune réservation n'est possible pour le samedi et le brunch du dimanche). The menu has a wide variety. I was able to enjoy goat cheese and beet salad with blackened salmon while the family picked from a number of delicious pastas.

Simply the Best local restaurant in LA jolla. Great food and plenty of it and a great menu to choose from. The help is extremely cordial and service is prompt but nobody hurries you.

All the waiters and greeters at Bernini's are really nice. There have been major improvements in the construction of the restaurant in the last year. They seem to be able to put more people into the same space. With more customers, there does appear to be an overload of the kitchen, so maybe things do not get out on time and may not be prepared as well as in the past. The interior improvements have made the restaurant even a better place to visit from a construction viewpoint. We really like the place for our family dinners. It is a family style restaurant. We think that the kitchen can be expanded to match the expansion of the other parts of the restaurant so the food quality and timeliness can be retained.

Always very welcoming there is a great selection seating options inside outside in between! They have delicious dinners, but we chose to eat the pizza and a salad tonight and the pizza was prosciutto . It was just so tasty and the crisp crust was fabulous. We also had a delicious salad with cranberries, apples, pecans, arugula I love espresso martinis, and they made a delicious one for me. Great place for casual dinner with tons of flavor.

We love this restaurant and it never disappoints. We always pick this bistro following a performance in La Jolla. The food is delicious (try the lasagna), the portions are generous, and the service is excellent. When the bill came for our recent dinner, it was a reasonable number compared to other similar restaurants (and less than other less capable restaurants ). We will continue to be a loyal customer.

The braised short ribs were excellent. We also enjoyed both the Caesar salad and the one with nuts and fruit. We ordered the small salads as an appetizer, and they were pretty substantial. Servers were kind, knowledgeable, and professional. Highly recommend eating at this delicious non-pretentious spot!

Karen was an amazing waitress. As a NYer we were pleasantly impressed with the pizza. It was fantastic. Every dish served was delicious! Will recommend to my clients.

Bernini’s never disappoints. This is our go to before a show at the Comedy Store & it always makes for a great date night for my wife & I. The service is always great & the food is always delicious. I had the special, which was swordfish & it was amazing. It was perfectly seared & the fresh green beans & roasted potatoes were delicious! My wife had the chicken piccata & it was equally great! The white wine sauce is soooo good! As always, we finish with dessert, which was the mud pie. Sinfully delicious! Can’t wait until our next show!

Just a fabulous neighborhood restaurant. Great service always from all the servers, tonight we had Karen and she was fabulous . We were celebrating a couple of birthdays and all was terrific including the food and drinks.

Lovely restaurant and delicious food. We invited our nieces to celebrate their birthdays which are within a week of each other. We put that on our reservation and also told our server. After the meal the server said he can’t comp a dessert for the birthdays since it’s not on the exact day. This was pretty disappointing as 1 serving would have been enough for 5 of us. Just wanted to celebrate the girls who don’t live in the area. I will choose another place to celebrate our birthdays unfortunately! 🥲

Very disappointing experience. Service was incredibly slow although our server himself was very good. Food was pretty tasteless and over priced. Would not recommend.

Last night was our first meal at Bernini's. We were delighted by the service, food and value. It has a strong family-oned vibe and it seemed like many of the customers ere regulars. Not at all like many La Jolla tourist spots. Bernini's is a mid-priced restaurant with top-tier service and food. The garlic bread (actually pizza dough with garlic and parmesan) was delicious and very generously sized. (So much so that we offered some to the adjoining table!). I had the special blue-fin tuna on wasabi mashed potatoes, which was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. (And large enough for two meals.) My husband had the salmon, which he was very pleased with. We had a very reasonably priced bottle of top-shelf Caymus cab. As I told our server, Bernini's is my new favorite restaurant. We'll definitely be back.

I was "celebrating" my half-birthday--and my last special meal before going to the hospital. Initial welcome and service was excellent, but the place rapidly filled with larger parties. I became a distraction. Others became very loud. My sweet walnut salad and cheese ravioli were superb. Service fell off to the point that I wasn't even asked if I wanted dessert. They wanted the four-top table I had been assigned to seat larger parties on what had turned out to be a rainy night with no one wanting to be outside. I'll be going back, but the special meal wasn't as great as others have been before.

Family brought us here. Met the lovely welcoming owner. Trueblood italian here with many delicious tastes of Italy under my ever expanding belt, and I have to say the sauce (sorry Mom…gravy) was fresh tasting not too sweet…just right. Meatballs were perfectly seasoned and like velvet! Pizza was fantastic - crust was crunchy but not dry and the ingredients were clearly top tier. Superb ambiance, attentive service - can say enough great things! Well done Bernini!
