an intimate 48-seat neighborhood restaurant in royal oak, michigan. we strive to be thoughtful about the food we plate, atmosphere we create, & energy we spread.

our goal at beppé is simple: to be intentional about the food & drink we serve, while fostering a welcoming environment.

whether you love beppé for our house-made pasta, to share with those you love plates, summer patio, thoughtfully curated cocktails, or a quality bottle of wine, we're here to be your spot & can't wait for you to keep coming back.

as a smaller establishment, we feel obligated to accommodate and serve all customers who want to dine with us in a timely manner. with that said, we do have policies limiting length of reservations. groups of 2-3 are allowed 90 minutes. groups 4+ are allowed 120 minutes. we ask that this policy is taken into consideration before choosing to dine with us.

bar seating is first come first serve.

we do not offer separate checks for groups of 5+.

Food was good, calamari was only ok. Super fried with no flavor. Would not recommend. The tagliatelle was delicious as was the spaghetti.

Consistency is the number one ingredient for any great restaurant. Beppe has proven to continually serve up first class dishes, very good wine pairings, served by wonderful staff. On this occasion I had the Roasted otto farms half chicken, lemon, radicchio, cornichon, pickled shallot and my wife had the halibut crispy potato cake, beurre blanc, dijonnaise. I know it's hard to get effusive over chicken but this was the best chicken I have ever eaten. Although I wasn't a fan of the radicchio salad my sister would have loved it. Just not my thing. The halibut is to die for! And Angela who was our server last time was once again at our table with a warm smile and attentive service. She adds something to our experience. Beppe has proven worthy of being called the finest dining experience in the downtown Royal Oak area, perhaps in all of Royal Oak.

We had a wonderful dinner at beppe! The drinks, food recommendations, and service from Sarah was top tier. A great date night off the beaten path.

Beepe brings the vibes of a big city restaurant to a small and intimate setting in Royal Oak. And I wouldn't change a single thing! Simple and fresh ingredients were combined in captivating ways to create a special experience that was beyond enjoyable for my wife and I. She is a vegetarian, and we were worried that we might not be able to find enough items that she could eat, but the menu was more than accommodating. Drinks were meticulously thought out, but not over-the-top, and the wine list had plenty of options to choose from. We ordered two of the small plates to share and each got an entree. This gave us a couple of things to sample and brought us home with plenty of leftovers for another tasting. I had heard good things about the burger and it certainly didn't disappoint. It is in the rankings as one of my favorite burgers in the city - Easily Top 5 and toppling other notables like Mercury Bar, Millers Bar and Red Coat Tavern. There are only a couple others that come to mind that can trade blows with this one, so if you are a burger fan, I strongly recommend giving this one a shot. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and are eager to return to try some more of the items. We also want to try to snag a table on the covered patio so we can enjoy the summer weather.

Food was incredible as was service! Got to sit outside on a gorgeous day, but they have heaters too if it gets cold. We had the scallops and the burger. Drinks were super nice too. Only thing missing is a dessert menu.

As our children are mid thirties and have their own families, it is rare that the 4 of us (husband, wife, son and daughter) can spend time just the 4 of us. The server was fantastic assisting with wine pairing, the food was delicious, and our conversation at the table between the 4 of us was priceless.
