                                                                                  Food and service were good. But not to have regular bread or baguette in a french bistro is disappointing. I dont want to eat my cheese on foccacia bread

                                                                                  Not the Benoit I remember, where I gladly paid top dollar. Having worked briefly for Patricia Wells (author of Food Lover's Guide to Paris & many other books), I believe I'm discerning, but not hard to please. The ambiance remains the same, but there was nothing special about the wine ($24/glass) the duck ($42), charcuterie appetizer ($27), or profiteroles dessert. The waiter had the personality of a cold fish. Won't be returning.

                                                                                  Very disappointing. My $42.00 duck was three small pieces. Maybe 1” x 3”. The roasted chicken was served with no garnish, just put on a plate. My $30.00 per glass red wine was poured in a small white wine glass until I requested a correct glass. They could learn a lot from the Paris location. Some of the staff definitely had a “tude”!

                                                                                  Brunch was wonderful, and even the outdoor shed had a lovely French ambience. I brought my friend here because he’d been so disappointed in every Croque Monsieur he’d gotten elsewhere, but he declared Benoit’sba “10”! Reasonably priced weekend brunch, and excellent service too.
