Gorgeous restaurant. Disappointed overall. Spinach dip was not mixed well, the cheese was lumped all together in the middle and the exterior was only spinach. We ate from the outside of the dish in so just thought it was oddly spinach-heavy until we found the cheese in the center, which was covered by a lot of some blended jalapeño mixture that we were trying to avoid. The fish tacos and mashed potatoes were outstanding. The short rib was more like a traditional roast beef gravy flavor and and not a red wine braise style as expected, and could have benefited from coming with some carrots or other braised vegetable. The filet mignon with herb butter was oddly sweet with very little savoriness - couldn’t identify sweet flavor, but maybe honey? The appetizer plates remained on the table throughout the entire meal instead of being removed prior to the main course. Disappointing for the price.

I did make a reservation and was seated in less than 10 minutes. Very nice hostess, waitstaff. The drinks were delish and off the happy hour menu along with our appetizers great value there. Our entrees were also very good and hot which I loved!

Took my dad to brunch to celebrate his 92nd birthday and was surprised to be served by one of his favorite servers from another restaurant that recently closed down. We've eaten at the Roseville location several times but I chose the Rocklin location because it is closer to his home. Always enjoy a nice menu selection, forgot to ask about the soup (but it was a warm day) as I enjoy the butternut squash soup. I had just come from a wedding celebration weekend in Reno and needed something light, so I ordered the Maui Beet Salad with grilled salmon. It was delicious, but I was only able to get through 3/4 of the beets - it's a lot! Lots of fresh ingredients and not heavily dressed. Dad had the Chicken Fried Steak and really enjoyed it. At 92 and a recent widower, he's become a man of few words. Just a quick mention about the ambience, the bar area is fairly loud and if I had been more familiar with the restaurant, I would have asked to have been seated closer to the main dining area. I will remember this location next time I'm visiting Dad.

We had a group of 6 and everything was wonderful as usual. The menu has changed, but we were able to get the Enchilada dish we had gotten before ... but it was beef instead of chicken, and we just had to request it, which was fine, just need to know that for next time. This location in Rocklin is our favorite location ... as we used to frequent the Roseville location often. Everything was great!!!

Had chicken enchiladas & my husband loved them. I had Mahi Mahi Tacos again, and were just as good as first time and good size pieces of fish. We both had the blackberry margaritas.... a big pricey but were good. As far as your other drinks... they all seem to be $14 and up. The mark up on alcohol is kind of unfair to those who enjoy your restaurant. If it's just a rum, vodka, gin.. with tonic or club soda or another add can't be that much. So the price of your alcohol is my only complaint. Otherwise we will be back and we have already recommended your restaurant to others.

Prime rib had strange flavor, tostada shrimp salad not up to par.. shrimp was cut in small pieces and very cold. Appetizers were great. We will go back as all in all it was a nice experience..

We have been going to Bennett's Westside since they opened. We need a quiet table due to hearing aids and they always accommodates us. Go after Happy Hour for a quieter dinner. Always the best service and food. Great for lunch for a ladies group too.

The restaurant was very busy and so service was a little slow but that’s to be expected. The food was outstanding. I was up charged on my wine which I didn’t notice until I got home. $24 for a glass was a lot but I was charged $30. I did not ask for, nor was I asked if I wanted, a large pour. The only complaint I have is the ladies room - it was filthy, and there were no towels. It clearly had not been checked in quite some time. Husband said the men’s was much the same.

The happy hour is a very good deal. Lemon drop drinks are $7, ribs are $8. Service was outstanding and I wish I could remember the server’s name. Nice evening out.

This was our second visit to Bennett's Westside. I didn't write a review the first time but it would have been much the same! First and most important for me was the service. Audrey was our server and she was amazing in every way! Great personality, checked on us enough that we never needed to look for her. She helped with suggestions which I always appreciate. We began with yummy guacamole and chips with our cocktails. I had an espresso martini which was great! We had the special last night which was prime rib. It was cooked (1 medium rare, the other medium well) to perfection and served with mashed potatoes. We shared a Caesar salad and a bowl of some of the best clam chowder I've had in a long time. Unfortunately, no room for dessert and, obviously, had to take some home with us. We'll be back and next time leave room for dessert.

We celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary at Bennett's. The waitperson was excellent and our appetizer, main course, and dessert were all delicious. This was our first time here. We will definitely be returning often.

I have been here several times and have not been disappointed. But Wednesday i was little disappointed. Our salmon salads were just ok, the salmon did not taste smoke, nor did the salmon taste very good. Our server was very nice but maybe was new as she was unable to answer several of our questions about the menu.

We feel that Bennetts over all is good food for good value. However the last time we went there was a fire in the kitchen and the alarms were going off and we had to evacuate the premises.

Made a reservation for 130 on Easter Sunday expecting that the restaurant would be busy on the holiday, but we didn’t expect was a few extra surprises along the way. We arrived early in case we had to wait for our reservation, but were surprised to be sat at 120p, 10 minutes early. But alas, downhill from there. Drinks were ordered at 145 and food not until 210. We sat with just water for almost 20minutes and the bottle of bubbly arrived at 2p but was warm, disappointing but happened to each table around us. Actually, the table next to us had to open their own bubbly bottleS which I believe is not advised… When we did get our food order in, 50minutes after arriving, we ordered an appetizer and 2 entrees, one with dietary restrictions. We received the entrees without the dietary restriction eliminated (no dairy or tomatoes) but I was able to eat around that. We then received our appetizer after the entrees, which of course we did not want anymore since we had tried to order something to have while we were waiting for our entree. The staff tried to offer the app to another table who didn’t want it, and so they brought it BACK to our table and waved the charge. We were appreciative of that, but as apps would have it… not something “left over friendly” so we ended up leaving it on the table which really was disappointing as well. I have eaten at all Bennetts locations and almost dine monthly at the Roseville location. This experience was unusual but the staff was unfazed by any of the issues so I don’t plan on coming back to the Rocklin location and will no longer refer friends/family to go for Brunch.

We went to Bennet’s on Easter Sunday. It was my first time. I started with a delicious Virgin Mary that looked like a meal with all its toppings of bacon and more. Next we shared six delicious oysters on the half shell. They were sweet and nice-sized. My partner had a mimosa with her meal. My entree was the halibut which was delicious and I highly recommend. She had a crab omelette which she loved. Since it was Easter, we went with their special dessert of Strawberry Shortcake. Obviously, I loved the meal.

Came in for Happy Hour but discovered a new Mexican food-inspired menu. The hubs tried the sea bass. It came with several side sauces and tortillas. I ordered the shrimp tostada which was loaded with shrimp and avocado, carrots, and pasilla (a mild chile the server told me). We topped it all off with Kylie’s churros, cream filled decadence served with vanilla ice cream and a generous drizzle of caramel sauce and powdered sugar. Apparently the full “Baja” menu has 15 delicious items to try and 7 cocktails through the month of April. Guess I’ll be back repeatedly!
