Our waiter Greg was excellent, very polite, provided excellent happy hour shareable food tips, the shrimp and empanadas and garlic Parmesan fries were very tasty and filling. Greg provided consistent service excellence throughout the evening, it made our first time experience wonderful.

Wow of us ordered the Salmon and had bad upset stomachs. Had to take medication to help relieve the severe upset. Must have been bad fish. So sad I do like eating there and never had a problem before!!

I do not normally write a poor review but this seems needed. They were obviously understaffed and the service was poor. Food was just alright. Will not make this a special birthday location again.

We have always ordered Rombauer Chardonnay and it was not on the menu. I was there for a birthday for a friend of mine LeAnn and she knew the manager. She was lovely, we waited 15 minutes but they found a chilled bottle the last one. She said it was dropped from the menu because it was above the price of the new menu for a white wine. It is a staple. I told her I eat out every meal, and every important restaurant has Rombauer Chardonnay. I think Bennett's missed the boat on this one, but they found a bottle, and we had an awesome dinner. Whew, it was close, if you drop Rombauer I will not come back even though I love Bennetts.

It’s a nice place but the food was so incredibly bland I couldn’t eat what I ordered. Went for brunch, husband had Eggs Benedict, I had Country Fried Steak. We also had the Dip Trio with chips. Unfortunately, all of it was all super bland. Guacamole needs salt and lime, this tasted like plain mashed avocado. The Eggs Benedict had very little hollandaise, what was there was lacking flavor, and the ratios were off - way too much ham, it was the dominant ingredient and flavor in the dish. The Country Fried Steak was the most disappointing - bland, bland, bland. Sausage gravy should pop, you should taste the sausage and black pepper. This did not, it was very plain. Steak was crumbly and also lacked flavor, and the potatoes were similarly flavorless. I only ate about a quarter of it, it was that bland. They took the steak off the bill for us which was nice. I've eaten here in the past but it's been a few years - I enjoyed my food previously so am not sure what the deal was today but whomever was cooking back there needs to up their game. Nothing was salted or seasoned at all, it was l like the people preparing these dishes had never eaten them and/or had not been taught what they should taste like. Service was fine, staff was nice so no issues there. But fix your food!!! No one wants to pay $20-30 a plate for bland, unsalted and unseasoned food.

I heard great things and saw good reviews about Bennett’s, so I was excited to try it for brunch. The shop where you enter looked good, and the patio area was pretty, yet too dark for a typical brunch. The menu was a bit discombobulated… there was a very small area for brunch items, but like items were not listed together. The egg dishes were not listed together, nor were the lunch-type foods. And the three menus we were given focused more on cocktails than food. The coffee was horrible, and we were not offered coffee, soda or water refills, but we had to ask for them throughout the entire meal… and it was not busy, only about half-full. Each employee stuck to their own section and stood aside observing their own customers or left the area altogether. They avoided eye contact with patrons, and the teamwork was horrible… nil. The food was mediocre at best. I feel like a breakfast or brunch restaurant can be judged by their Eggs Benedict, and Bennett’s was not good. Also, there were no choices for sides or substitutions. My daughter was allergic to the fruit mix for her side, but there were no single fruits, no potatoes, no tomatoes, no other veggies. Just a mixed green salad. I see brunch as being able to choose lunch OR dinner, not breakfast with a side salad. After slow service, we left the restaurant disappointed, unimpressed and $90 poorer… and we didn’t even drink alcohol! I will not be back, nor will I recommend Bennett’s to anyone who asks.

Dinner was fantastic, our prime rib was perfection, from doneness to the excellent flavor, mashed potatoes were the creamiest I’ve had. Service, Christian is a great waiter he is knowledgeable, attentive, energetic and friendly. Great experience, we’ll be back!

We think Robin is the best bar tender ever and the happy hour at Bennett’s is fabulous with delicious reasonably priced small plates. We keep coming back to both Roseville and Rocklin for these reasons.

Our group did the Bubbles & Brunch for 2 birthday celebrations. Great value @ 2 for $44. Several brunch items to choose from. Overall the service, and food was good. One person said the Steak & Bacon Tacos were bland. Our waiter was top notch.

The food was okay. None of us were excited about our meals. We had enchiladas, soup and salad, ribs and fries chicken. Cocktails were on the weak side. We ordered wine and sourdough bread with dinner and didn't get either until we were almost done with our meal. It's a pretty loud place too. We are going to try it again maybe for lunch.

Kevin was an exceptional server. We will request him again. This was our first time at the restaurant. Certainly would have the salmon and the Mia salad was outstanding. Dress warmly. Most of the dining is under cover on the patio. They have heaters but still I would prefer that the seating was in a warmer cozy place.

Great service. The food was good not great. We had a chopped salad and a. Ceasar salad both were watered down. Maybe other options are better.
