The food was very bland and the yum yum sauce tasted like mayonnaise then a sauce. The cook was very entertaining and great chef. We were there for my wife’s birthday and was very disappointed in the food for the price we had to pay. Ginger dressing seemed frozen and no taste what’s so ever.

We arrived at 11:30 , and did not get to order until 12:15 , the waitress explained that they had run out of salad lol food was really overcooked and greasy.

It must of been our chef but the food had no flavor rice was hard over cooked might thought he was cooking for his self not wanting to use a lot of butter since he was fat but no it’s for us customers you should be uaing more garlic butter!!

The lawyers got to one of the most famous Japanese-Style restaurants. No more flipping food to customers, no more “Saki-Saki-Saki”. The experience is no longer the fun it once was. It’s average at best. Try a local teppanyaki place without the corporate lawyers running the business. Food was average. Chef was pretty lame especially for Vegas.

They forgot to fix or should I say L LOL LOL LL ok my food. The waiter put the wrong order in for myself. So I was without chicken and shrimp. Until I insist that they made my food. Especially if I was paying for it!!!! Also they did not serve us salad until I spoke up for the whole table ( Strangers in all). I was than told that they ran out of tomatoes So they wasn’t going to serve us salad at all. And also the waiter didn’t have common decency to tell us, I had to ask. Food was absolutely delicious had no complaints about the food however, the AC was either not working, or not on at all. The whole entire restaurant was a sauna & it made the entire experience almost miserable.

the worst service I've ever seen on the strip . After we sit down at the table, in a booth without air conditioning, after 20 minutes the waitress came and took our order and after another 45 minutes no one had even come to bring us drinks, not even a glass of water. We got up and left the restaurant

We were hoping for a little more “entertainment” from the chefs. A little lackluster environment. Food was good. Our server was cranky. I noted when I booked it was my daughter’s 21st bd and there was no more than a “happy birthday”. Kinda disappointing

Have food allergies and chef still put shrimp on my plate. Had to bring me a new plate and discard the food that had contact with the shrimp. No compensation or consideration for spoiled dinner. Chef was unconcerned about food allergy mistakes.

The server and the chef, Christina and Derek, made the meal incredible experience. Last time I was here. It was awful. Christina made sure the table had refills. I was never looking for her. She took the time and listen. I wish more servers were like her. Active listening and kind. Derek is one of the best chefs I had at any Benihana. Seasoned the food the way I like it. I was given melted garlic butter. I love garlic butter melted or solid. He is great. Able to multitask. Clean the grill like no other. He can teach some of the others how the job is done. Come to Los Angeles.

Food portions could be better. One waitress serving multiple hibachi stations.she did best she could but it was not a quick service due to lack of staffing.

We’ve always enjoyed Benihana in our state of Illinois and decided to visit the Las Vegas location while were there. We enjoyed Chef Levi and appreciated that he wasn’t as obnoxious as one of the other chefs working that evening. Chef Levi took the time to ask questions of everyone at our table and then answered our questions regarding him and his training. The meal he prepared was delicious! Sometimes you just want a great meal and show without lights, buzzers and yelling.

We went las night to have dinner we where 16 seated in 2 tables all the people from one table is sick right now this is the first time that this happened at a Benihana and we do dine often at the san diego location also the rice was terrible undercooked.

I came to celebrate my birthday and the cook thought it’d be a great idea to share a racist and homophobic joke while making our dinner. It made things awkward to the point that individuals who the joke didn’t even pertain to, leave without finishing their meals. I was embarrassed, offended, and did not want the staff to sing my happy birthday song, nor did I want the celebratory dessert. I left highly upset and will NEVER dine at another Benihana restaurant again!

Since the start, it was a great visit! The host are very welcoming. And that energy continued throughout the entire visit. Server, chef, bartender, and managers are awesome. The food was perfect, too!

Not the greatest experience! We were visiting from Indiana and ours is way better. We waited 2 hours for a chef. Waitress wasn’t nice. Food was rushed and burnt. Over all not good! I had higher expectations for Vegas

Amazing food amazing cook the only bad thing is 3 people in our party had bad smoke in their eyes. My son whose birthday it was literally suffered starting 15 minutes into dinner we tried visine, splashing water in his eyes and it was so sad he cried for the last 30 minutes of dinner. This has never ever happened before it was so crazy there was no ventilation.

Never coming back here again. Service was very poor everyone seemed liked it was their first day at work. Tables were dirty for 20-30 mins before anyone started cleaning them. And the food was mediocre. I would like my money back but don’t want to go through the hassle.

Had to wait 20 mins despite a reservation. Food was poor (the soup was salty and inedible), I waited 20 mins for a beer (a "backup at the bar"), and the experience was kinda boring and expensive. I was really looking forward to my 9YO son being WOWed by the experience, but he was bored and wanted to leave quickly. Really disappointed.

Tony (Too Much) did an awesome job as always. The food was delicious and Tony was entertaining and made our experience fun.

Benihana is a classic restaurant that will always put on a good show while you eat. We’ve been to a few of them throughout the US and the atmosphere, food, and vibe are all consistent at each one. Always recommend this place for good food and good times. Definitely worth the value.

Had to wait 40 minutes to be seated even with a reservation. It took and hour before our chef arrived to cook. Very small portions of food for the price. The chef was excellent but the service was horrible. We were there 3 hours!

Taking 45 minutes for the chef to come to our table is unacceptable. We were late to our event because of this.

The chef, Don, was awesome. He saved it from being a bad experience. More people need to tip the both the wait staff/chef front of house and chef, especially when the chef was above and beyond. Might be back. The guys in the suits constantly walking around checking table proves I assume were weird. Might be back.
