Food simply lacked flavour and was not worth it. Not much on the menu which is understandable but it just wasn’t great. The textures were weird and I’ve had much better Indian for a fraction of the price. For fine dining it was very noisy and not as elegant as you would typically expect. Very disappointing as we travelled from far to visit this place on a special occasion.

We've been coming for 8 years, always good. This time, although the food / drink was great, the service was lacking for us and the tables next to us. This restaurant need to get more organised on busy periods

Stunning from start to finish. We had the tasting menu with accompanying wine and every match was a perfect seamless fusion. Truly remarkably good! We will be back many times.

Absolutely fantastic food, as usual. Perfect service, attentive without being overbearing. The paratha was the best we’ve ever had! The wine was also superb. Just what we expect from Benares!

Celebrated with friends, we experienced the tasting menu with wine pairing. Food outstanding, each course a revelation of taste and presentation. Wine pairing a perfect compliment. The courses were perfectly timed, staff very attentive.
