Fabulous dining; we had the specials for main course - prime fillet and even better short rib. Will definitely eat there again. Special thanks to our lovely waitress Candela García who made our night even more special.

AMAZING!!!! We were late but they still fit us in, and gave us a great table by the kitchen. The food is the best we have ever had in Mexico. We had the seabass and WOW!!!! It was so worth it!!! We also had the salmon and 2 different salads. Our son had the cheeseburger and ate every last bit of it! The prices are very reasonable and way better than eating at a resort! We will DEFINITLY be back!!!!!! 10 stars!

Simply amazing!! Belmonte is a perfect mix of wonderful food options prepared perfectly. The service is excellent and the ambiance is unlike anywhere else in Playa Del Carmen. If you want a truly incredible dining experience come. If you want Senor Frogs do not. Try George’s other restaurants as well. NY dining in Mexico…..

Excellent food, cod cassarole was great comfort food. Linguini was superbly flavored. Service was impeccable and friendly. Indoor seating was appropriate for romantic dinner.

Our server Candela and the rest of the staff at Belmonte was absolutely lovely. We saved our nice dinner out in the town for our last night of our trip and so glad to have found Belmonte. We made a reservation for 8pm but by 7pm we were done with walking 5th Ave and ready to eat. They informed us that our table was available but noted that a party of 15 was just seated so please excuse a possible slower service. We were totally fine with that but in the end we felt like we had top notch, attentive service from everyone in the restaurant. Thanks to their recomendations we started with the mixed croquettes, beef carpaccio and the fig/burrata salad. Every dish was delicious and complemented each other well. For our mains, I had the lobster and my husband had the filet belmonte. Both were cooked perfectly! Best meal we had in PDC and honestly in a while, mostly because of the exceptional service and kindness of Candela and the team. Definitely would recommend to anyone who is looking for an elevated meal in PDC. Looking forward to returning.

Came here to celebrate an anniversary. the staff was attentive, food was excellent and presentation was perfect. I felt like I was dining at a five-star restaurant. Attention to every dining detail imaginable. They even surprised us with a special anniversary dessert. Will definitely be back.

Excellent food and atmosphere. We had the Croquette Mix (shrimp, beef and cod), the Portuguese seafood rice with lobster and the grilled octopus. Everything was just perfect. And the service by Candela was impeccable! I definitely recommend Belmonte!

Air Conditioner was broken, which made the experience overall not so great because of the heat. Service was lacking expertice and recommendations for the menu. A bit of storytelling or explaining of the dishes would have been good. Wine list overall of quality with good range, lacking more open wines. Would come again, but not ding to.

We had a fabulous evening with Franco who was attentive, and made fabulous food and bottles of wine recommendations. We enjoyed the bread baskets, onion soup, salad, and foie gras for starters. The asparagus was perfectly prepared. The piri piri chicken, salted cod, and pork were all excellently prepared. We would eat at this restaurant again

Fantastic service! Beautiful restaurant great ambiance inside. the outside is lovely but a lot of traffic and a noisy club nearby. Would recommend sitting inside. The food was very good. Preparation was great, and some very unique flavors.

Service was very smooth. Server had a lot of information about the menu. Really helpful. I had the rack of lamb and partner had the grilled octopus. Both were excellent. Special shout-out for the desserts.

Our favorite restaurant in Playa del Carmen. The food and service are always spectacular. We've been MANY times and keep going back for the two reasons stated and it's also very peaceful and the sights and aromas are appealing. ALL the staff is super friendly and helpful.

Candela provided GREAT service and was pleasant to chat with. The food was delicious: 3 of us enjoyed 3 different pulpo dishes. We ate here last year as well and we will return next to eat here again. We sat outside and the music at end of block was too loud but not Belmonte’s fault.

Todo muy bien,solo el salmón no fue una experiencia al nivel del restaurant y los postres estaban demasiado dulce s para nuestro gusto.

Best meal I had in Playa. Food was not cheap, I'd compare the prices similar to fine dining in the US. Had lobster and filet, both were cooked perfectly. Drinks were fantastic. Service was excellent

The experience of going to this restaurant is fantastic. It is clearly fine dining with wonderful service and the food is delicious and beautifully presented.

Have been to playa a many many times. Have eat in places for Cancun to Tulum, Mayacoba included. This was the best meal we have had. Service was great. Excellent recommendations. Did not get the server name but he was amazing.

Outstanding! Walked there from 5th street where all restaurants were packed with people waiting. Belmonte was almost empty, we almost passed but gave it a try. Glad we did, service was outstanding, food was outstanding, prices were reasonable. BTW, margaritas were great, tasty and no headache afterwards.
