Acclaimed Executive Chef Pedro Almeida, whose previous restaurants earned Michelin Stars under his leadership, leads the culinary artistry of Bellpine. Inspiration is drawn from Oregon’s bountiful Willamette Valley, the state’s farms, ranchers, rivers, and the Pacific Ocean.     Join us at 7:00 PM in Bellpine on the 20th floor of The Ritz-Carlton, Portland for an intimate wine and Japanese cuisine pairing dinner with Dan Estrin, winemaker and vineyard manager for Cristom Vineyards, nestled in the heart of the Willamette Valley. Cristom was named a Wine & Spirits Top 100 Winery of the Year in 2023 and has been family owned and operated since 1992, with a vision to grow and craft distinguished wines of place with vineyards on the east-facing volcanic hillside in the Eola-Amity Hills. Cristom's award-winning wines will be paired with a 7-course culinary journey curated by Executive Chef Pedro Almeida, whose Japanese restaurant, Midori, has won multiple Michelin Stars. Priced at $220 per person (gratuity not included)

    The dishes were inventive and very tasty. Server extremely knowledgeable, kind and able to make great suggestions. The view of the city is stunning from the 20th floor. We got a glimpse of the Rose Parade which was a bonus. Great atmosphere. Amazing wine selection. Bring a sweater because the air conditioning is very cold and breezy. Very spendy but worth it for a special night out.

    Outstanding service. Best view of the entire metro skyline. Tasting menu was diverse and delicious. Non alcoholic cocktails were appreciated

    We had a wonderful first time experience at the Ritz Bellpine Restaurant. All the employees made our Anniversary a special event. The food choices were not as broad as we hoped, but the items we picked were great. The special touches that our waiter added for our anniversary were wonderful. Even the Valet went out of the way to add a special touch. It was a very classy experience.

    Gabriel was amazing! We had a delightful lunch. My only complaint was our 11:30 reservation was late and we had a 1pm appt. But they spread things up and all worked out

    We ate here twice while staying at the hotel. Breakfast was a disaster. We were seated OUTSIDE the restaurant in the bar, not because there wasn't seating inside (there was) and not because we didn't have a reservation (we did). We actually couldn't figure out why this happened but I knew right away it wasn't going to be a good experience. While seated in the restaurant proper there were an abundance of servers and folks helping, where we were stuck, nobody could see us and we had a single server on his own who probably kept forgetting about us honestly because we weren't even in a section. Our food took so long that he comped drinks without any comment from us - what actually happened was our food sat until someone remembered us and then we received it lukewarm with a film on the gravy to let us know it'd been sitting for a while. Again - I do not fault the server really.. I'm sure it was confusing. Nobody before or after us was sat out in the bar area. It was an extremely frustrating experience. We came again for lunch (literally only because we had credit to use from staying with Amex FHR). Managed to get inside the restaurant this time, seated in a mostly empty restaurant next to the server station. At this point I just assume the host hates my face and move on with life 😆 Service was great this time, more in line with what would be expected. Food was prompt, burger was really tasty and tender. It almost made up for our breakfast experience... Almost. Net net - the food is good. Service is good if you're properly seated but if the host takes a dislike to you, avoid letting them seat you outside the restaurant or else you'll have a terrible time.

    Nice atmosphere. Quiet, but open and airy, with a beautiful views of the city. Food was delicious, and I really appreciate that they have both a kids menu and always some options for vegas/vegetarians.

    David was incredible! Will go back and ask to have David take care of us! The salmon was some of the best I’ve ever had!

    We were wanting to visit this place for a while . Took my husband here for his birthday last night. Our server Nicole was exceptional! She really took the time to deliver and accommodate our dietary needs and check with the chef. The food was incredible. We ordered 4 appetizers and a two person size entree . Perfect amount of food. We were hungry. The butternut squash purée was delicious with pita bread and the cedar plank salmon so fresh and done to perfection. Not over or undercooked . Very fresh. Compliments to the chef. Very refreshing cocktails. Very unique. Overall reccomend. A little pricey, but for what you get, IE the quality it is good value. I really appreciated Nicole our server. She is very kind and attentive and took phenomenal care of us and customer service to the next level. Thanks Nicole!

    We had a lovely dinner at Bellpine with friends. The food was inventive, delicious and expertly prepared. The desserts, in particular, were extremely unique. The service was spot-on: professional, engaging, and efficient. Our waiter definitely knew both the food and drink menu as he was able to make suggestion about both. The atmosphere is lovely and energetic with great views of the city. Prices are not for the budget-shopper but worth the expense. I highly recommended Bellpine for a special occasion dinner.
