Owned by seasoned restauranteur Nick Mathers and Wish You Were Here Group, Belles Beach House aims to transport guests from Los Angeles to a tropical destination whilst staying in the heart of Venice Beach. An ode to the retro Tiki Bar and legendary artist Larry Bell, Belles Beach House exudes the laid back, island vibes of the 1970s serving Hawaiian-inspired dishes with Japanese influence, vibrant craft cocktails and a thoughtful wine list.

Fantastic! We had a long table and squeezed people in. The drinks and food were great and Mike did a great job!

Whenever I have guests in town, I take them to Belle's. Great food, ambiance, staff, cocktails. You can walk to the extremely close beach to watch the sunset, the skateboarders and the usual Venice Beach locals. But back to Belle's. I've never been disappointed.

Maybe Julian was his name but it’s the short hair light skin black dude , he was awesome ! Food was great and drinks were spot on ! Would recommend !

Great food and service. The teriyaki burger is really good and the pork bao buns.

I've been to Belle's before and it's always been great. Tonight was an unpleasant surprised. Made reservations. They sat us at the table facing the kitchen door. Asked for bottled still water. Waitress rudely said we don't have that as if I was making some egregious request. Tap water is nasty and I only drink water so that was a let down. Crispy shrimp were off. I ordered the miso cod, which was undercooked and slimy. I ate a couple bites and left the rest. It was pretty inedible. My boyfriend said the short rib he got was pretty underwhelming. This used to be a favorite spot but won't go back after tonight :(

It was one of the best experiences in Los Angeles. My best friend and I decided to have a little girls Cali trip and chose a few restaurants to visit. Belles Beach House was the first stop and it was an amazing start! The food, the service, the ambiance. Server was extremely friendly and the drinks and food came out very quickly. Literally I have nothing to complain about and can’t wait to visit again in the future!

Eh. That’s the best way to describe Belles. No vibe, no good food, no good service… it’s truly barely passable. If I were alone, I’d get up and leave. Very disappointed. Really wanted to like this place as it came recommended, but honestly, I can’t recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a nice place to enjoy food and wants to have a good time.

My brothers and I was here Sunday our server Madeline was great we plan on coming back and will tell our friends very Neo Soul vibes here A+++
