BellaBrava New World Trattoria was born in 2005 in Downtown Saint Petersburg. Over the years since, BellaBrava has been voted Best Restaurant in Saint Petersburg, Best Italian, and is a perennial Guest favorite on Beach Drive.

Less formal than a ristorante, our service is casual, our prices remain reasonable and our emphasis is on a steady clientele rather than haute cuisine. Old World flavors mingle with New World flair. From seafood to traditional pasta, pizzas, and more, we are positive everyone will find something delicious to savor.

BellaBrava’s unique Woodstone™ ovens cook delicious pizzas and a guest favorite, the Crostata.

Our ingredients are fresh, often locally sourced, and evoke the flavors of Tuscany and other delicious cuisines from Italy. With friendly, competent staff, BellaBrava aims to be your casual dining spot.

When you see a couple come in, clearly on a date, you don’t sit them in the noisy family section. Recommend paying more attention to where you seat certain customers. There were plenty of tables in the other area that had a better ambiance. Also I put on the reservation it’s was a birthday and they did nothing about it. So why ask if there’s an occasion when making the reservation?

Had a 6:45 reservation for a birthday celebration and they sat us at THE worst table right next to the kitchen and walk-way. We asked to move and they did but said we had to be out by 8pm for another reservation (mind you there were open seats all around.) I asked about the pomodoro sauce being spicy as it was last time I was there, he brought me a sample and yes it would not work so I asked for the bucitinni and meatballs with the sauce on the side. We all ordered salads as well, when they arrived it wasn't 5 minutes later the meal came (huge pet peeve of mine) So, first the buccitini noodles were not fresh and were overcooked and stuck together and mushy and to make matters worse the meatballs were more spicy than the sauce (one would think if I told the waiter I could not eat spicy he may have mentioned they were just as bad if not worse .. I asked him and he goes Oh yeah they are much spicier. I ended up sending it all back...He never came back and asked if we wanted desert and to make matters worse when we all took turns in the bathroom it wreaked of a horrible odor. Needless to say this used to be my friends favorite restaurant as she lives a block away but probably won't be back anytime soon and its too bad

This was our second time here, and it didn’t disappoint! Our server was attentive and the food was great again. I had something different but my husband went for the chicken parmigiana again and he was very happy with his choice.

Went expecting to order my favorite dishes only to be told they had been taken off the menu even though they are still on website menu!! Very disappointing. Service was good though

Hostess was accommodating and friendly. Our waitress Kaylie was excellent. Beer was cold. Food was delicious.

The food was delicious and the service was spot on. Even when my husband accidentally spilt his water in our calamari appetizer, a new one was brought out without asking. Since our son lives in Tampa and we love staying in Pass A Grill, we will definitely be back!
