Belgard Kitchen is the restaurant component of the ’Vancouver Urban’ Brand Collective, alongside siblings Vancouver Urban Winery, Van Urban Cider, and Van Urban Beer Co. Inspired by fresh ingredients and local producers, our food menus highlight Canadian ingredients from east to west, taking influence from techniques across the globe, while our drink menus showcase BC wines and craft beer & cider made in house.

Open daily, we offer weekday lunch and Happy Hour, weekend brunch, and dinner seven nights a week.

We love to celebrate! We host full restaurant buy outs for larger groups & events, while our mezzanine and alcove spaces are ideal for intimate occasions & private dining any day of the week.

This was our first time at Belgard Kitchen and it was great. What a warm and inviting space in a really interesting renovated room. The service was great and the food was amazing. My favorites were the wagu carpaccio and the scallop risotto. We both had the 3 course dinner which was very reasonable. We will be back and I highly recommend Belgard

We had a great overall experience at Belgard Restaurant. It had been years since I last visited. A group of 4 guys went out for a much-needed break. The service was friendly and attentive. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and didn't blink an eye when answering any question we threw at them. The prix fixe menu was great value and had some wonderful options. We had a chance to catch-up, never felt hurried and would recommend this as a great option with the busy-ness of the downtown core. Food was thoughtfully constructed and curated!

Food was excellent, as was the service. We shared the Roasted Eggplant Dip, the Meatballs, the Grilled Cheese Fondue and the Green Salad. The dishes did not disappoint and the chef talent obvious!

Awesome experience with the Best of Belgard prix fixe menu. Just incredibly tasty, waitstaff were solicitous and warm, and exerted zero pressure on drinks (we are sober and had indicated that when making the reservation). The non-alcoholic mojito is actually quite nice too. Definitely recommend and I will likely do it again!

Went here for a drink and it was amazing. Good selection of beer and wine as well as non alcoholic beverages. The service was great and the food is delicious. Will definitely be back.

I’m a big fan, a brewery, a winery and an independent kitchen that creates food that doesn’t have to come out of a deep fat fryer. Wonderful friendly staff great company and good food!!!!

The service was exceptional, and everyone was very friendly. We had the tasting menu, but there was way too much food, and I felt very sick afterwards. The portions were huge, even after sharing the food with others.

An hidden gem in an unexpected place. The ambience is rustic, with all the barrels piled close to the tables. building with an interesting architecture. Friendly service and outstanding food. The music is very loud though, not ideal for conversation or for a romantic dinner.

Fantastic food, beautiful restaurant, and a great selection of wines. The server was very kind and knowledgeable, but our only negative is that it was all very rushed. Our main courses were brought over before we had finished our starter, so by the time we started eating them they were half cold. Also the lights were being turned off as we ate dessert. We had been warned upon arrival that they were closing early, but we arrived at 7.30 and left an hour later, so we didn't take long. I don't think it is a good way to treat guests and we probably won't return because of it - they only had to wait another few minutes and it wouldn't have been rushed.

wouldn't recommend. poor and rude service. the food was subpar compared to our previous visits and looked cheap. they barely added any brisket and avocado to our meals.

Belgard was a nice experience. We come here multiple times a year. We did enjoy it although we did prefer most of the dishes before they made changes to them (ex. Spaghetti nero is now tagliatelle, and they made interesting changes to the beet salad). We’d still come again but we miss the old Belgard.

Everything was great. Just not a fan of the smoked beets and ice cream appetizer on the set menu, a little too earthy for us. Otherwise 9/10 experience! Would highly recommend.

Came in for dine out, overall very good experience. I love the vibe at this place, great music and lighting. Love the decorations as well. I tried their wine flight, great wine! Their dine out portions were great, much larger than other restaurants I have been to. Favor was pretty good. The brisket tho was a bit tough so that was a little bit disappointing. Other wise, everything else was tasty.

Had to rate food, but in fact we never did order. Our waiter was more interested in chatting with colleagues at the bar. We had a drink - and could not find him again. When he finally did come back I indicated we were ready to order, but had a question about the bar, and after he answered it he said I'll let you decide (or something like that) and then walked away again. After 20 minutes our order had not been taken. Other folks who came in after us were eating. So we left. Won't ever go back, this fellow had been there for years already. The women servers seemed to be more engaged with their customers.

We had the dine out menu. The food was great, nice size portions. The restaurant itself is stunning. The server mentioned that it was happy hour so we opted to get each get a drink. When the bill came apparently the drinks we had chosen were not part of the happy hour. It would have been nice of our server to speak up and inform us of that. I would have gotten a pint of cider versus a sleeve had I known a sleeve isn’t in the happy hour.

First time back since COVID. Took advantage of the Dine Out Vancouver menu. Absolutely delicious.

This restaurant was beyond my expectations. Housed in a unique industrial building. From my interaction with the host, when I realized they had booked us at a high top table, to making an easy transition to a low table for my hubby. Waitress was amazing and attentive, food was so great that it is hard to describe the culinary experts that they call chefs. We were given a complimentary mini appy and a half glass of sparkling white. Appetizers were full size and not only tasted great but were art on a plate. Where to start, we were a table of four and I wanted to taste everyone's appy. I ordered the 12 hour cooked brisket and it was so yummy. Hubby had scallops and risotto and stopped talking for the whole entre, it was that good. Dessert was pumpkin cheesecake, and we also had flourless chocolate cake. Sorbet was served on some of the appy's and dessert. It was the best meal that we have ever had. I was hesitant to drive out to east van from the valley. Best decision I have made all year. Thank you to the staff, management, chefs and everyone at the Belgard Kitchen. It was the best meal ever......everyone who reads this needs to go to the Belgard Kitchen. Love it. :)

We arrived early but managed to get seated right away. There was a delay in the kitchen and a hiccup with my food but the staff were very sincere and made sure that they let us know and took good care of us. Despite all of that I would definitely go back. I had a wonderful experience and loved the vibe of the restaurant.
