Belgard Kitchen is the restaurant component of the ’Vancouver Urban’ Brand Collective, alongside siblings Vancouver Urban Winery, Van Urban Cider, and Van Urban Beer Co. Inspired by fresh ingredients and local producers, our food menus highlight Canadian ingredients from east to west, taking influence from techniques across the globe, while our drink menus showcase BC wines and craft beer & cider made in house.

Open daily, we offer weekday lunch and Happy Hour, weekend brunch, and dinner seven nights a week.

We love to celebrate! We host full restaurant buy outs for larger groups & events, while our mezzanine and alcove spaces are ideal for intimate occasions & private dining any day of the week.

The place is great overall, happy hour has some great options! The ambiance is nice for any occasions, service is always great. The food is a little too salty for my palate. Ordered three main and a salad with chicken . Risotto is always yummy but the gnocchi and the lasagna was really salty. Salad was great but you can’t go wrong with a good salad. Price came down ti around 134 for three dishes and a starter but I don’t think it reflected the dish this time around.

We only had one night in Vancouver, so glad we chose this place for dinner! We had been on a cruise for the last 7 days and this food was far superior! Worth the 2 mile walk we took to get there. The folks were so kind and welcoming. 5stars!!!

I found a hair in my dish when I was almost done with it. I told my server that I don’t mind, but just wanted her to let the kitchen staffs know- because I wanted to still pay for my dish as I was almost done when I found the hair. However, I still anticipated an apology or explanation, neither of which I received. Probably not going to go back due to poor service.

We had an enjoyable birthday dinner but the restaurant did not acknowledge that we were celebrating a birthday although it was noted on the reservation.

This was our first time at Belgard Kitchen and it was great. What a warm and inviting space in a really interesting renovated room. The service was great and the food was amazing. My favorites were the wagu carpaccio and the scallop risotto. We both had the 3 course dinner which was very reasonable. We will be back and I highly recommend Belgard

We had a great overall experience at Belgard Restaurant. It had been years since I last visited. A group of 4 guys went out for a much-needed break. The service was friendly and attentive. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and didn't blink an eye when answering any question we threw at them. The prix fixe menu was great value and had some wonderful options. We had a chance to catch-up, never felt hurried and would recommend this as a great option with the busy-ness of the downtown core. Food was thoughtfully constructed and curated!
