Featuring raw oysters and fresh seafood with international influences from executive chef Eddie Barrett, BeetleCat is a trendy restaurant and bar in Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood. The menu transports you to the New England coast at the upstairs dining room and oyster bar, while the downstairs Den lends itself to a 70s surf shack. We went with friends because we had been before and liked it. Unfortunately this wasn’t nearly the same. I’m gluten free and our waiter told me which dishes would be ok for me. I ordered one of his suggestions as well as a few oysters. The food came for the group except 1 and my oysters. When we asked they said that order was taken to another table and they would fix it. The rest of the table was almost done eating when my oysters came and the 1 persons food, except that was the wrong food. So they took it back and said they would fix it…again. I had asked for the oysters to be as an appetizer but ate it after my meal anyway. The oysters had not been shelled right and had pieces of shell in the meaty part. When the other persons meal finally came we all sat and talked as he ate. We left thinking all was ok until it wasn’t. I started feel ill afterwards and called in and asked about what I had eaten and gluten ingredients. They said that was definitely not gluten free so I had to deal with the consequences as it’s an allergy for me. We won’t be back.

Termite swarm in lower patio area made experience difficult; Aperol spritz had no spritz, orange or ice. We came at end of brunch and there weren't many options due to demand they extended brunch and options between menus limited.

My second time here, and we finally tried the donuts. The waiter was fun with an intricate personality that we loved. The donuts are worth driving past Krispy Kreme etc. we will be back!

I love Beetlecat’s! I have been coming here for a while, and these last two weekends I was there back to back. I brought my family from out of town. They loved it. Milo was our server and we like him so much. Good energy, very accommodating, and just a great service experience. We actually asked for him when I brought my family the second time. Food is great!

The food at Beetlecat is always excellent! Their clam chowder is out of this world and the mussels are heavenly. We also tried the grilled Mahi sandwich this time, which was perfectly cooked and quite spicy (in a good way). French fries were great and the cocktails are always finely crafted. Another excellent meal! We'll be back again and again.

Our server was not attentive at all. He came and poured water in glasses that had lipstick still on them and we did not see him for a while. We had to ask the hostess to find him. The brunch menu is very limited. Maybe will try for lunch or dinner another time.

We had a reservation for the patio at 8 and it was confirmed. There was a mix up and they accidentally gave away our table. They really scrambled to make it right and get us sat on the patio as soon as possible on a super busy Saturday night. The food was spectacular. I will be back.

Super slow service. cold entree. cocktails arrive halfway thru meal. food is very good but service pollutes the experience. won’t be back for a year or two

Experience was fun for brunch - great set up inside and patio was pretty. Feel like the pricing was meh but enjoyed our experience with our waiter which made up for it! Overall would recommend though for an easy brunch with friends - especially if you’re looking for somewhere that has a focus on the decor.

Phenomenal experience! We will definitely be back soon. Our waiter was also incredible and thorough, but I can’t remember his name at the moment. :( 10/10!!!

I had a lunch reservation for early on a Friday, not many people there. We had an excellent waitress and excellent food. The lobster roll was great. I imagine it is very noisy at busy times with so many hard surfaces and so many tables.

Chef Eddie, Lamont, Julianna, and server Eddie were all outstanding! The food was sublime and the service was heartfelt. They went out of their way to ensure my toddler had a fantastic time!

it was just OK. I used to come quite often before I moved a little bit further outside of town. I had high expectations for the last Astor role/sandwich that we usually order it was pleasantly surprised to find out they now upgraded from chips to fries as a side item. We ordered drinks ahead of making a decision to order our food, and the drinks took longer than the food to come out approximately 26 minutes and then food took a little longer than that, I had to send the lobster roll back because the lobster was undercooked and tough really difficult to eat although my husband was less tough than mine.

Best brunch in town. Get the donuts or the donut bun on the chicken sandwich. Or the lobster roll. You can’t go wrong. awesome service!

My boyfriend and I went for brunch and had a great time. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth but the DOUGHNUTS! So good! The lobster only was stuffed with a generous amount of lobster and the steak was cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to go back.

This is a great date night spot. There are 2 levels and we were seated downstairs which had a nice vibe. They also have an outside area. The music playing in the background was great. The food was amazing.

The food is always amazing. We had a last minute sitter cancelation and the team accommodated us with a smile. Always friendly and fun. The oyster selection is amazing and those mussels - YUM!

The ambiance was nice. The drinks were good. We ordered the fish dip and fry bread as appetizers. They both were tasty. I ordered the lobster roll and was very disappointed. The lobster meat was overcooked and chewy. With that being said, management apologized and made it right quickly. I changed my order to the double cheeseburger (hold the tarter sauce), and it was AWESOMESAUCE.

We’ve been here a handful of times, most recently for brunch. I’d highly recommend it. They make these incredible (and huge!) donuts and they have several other options for your tastes. A donut makes a good appetizer for other dishes. Beetlecat does not have the mayhem breakfast vibe you get a lot of places around. It’s elegant but casual.

I went for my birthday and they were very accommodating for the 12 people that I had celebrating with me. The food was really good. Our waitress Lea was really nice and helpful.

We were in town from Seattle for the weekend and had some of the very best seafood at Beetlecat we’ve ever had! The whole experience was perfection! Will def be back.

Great attentive and friendly service. Lee/Leigh even gave us activity suggestions for after our meal. Had delicious lobster rolls for brunch and split a strawberry donut. Great ambience and energy. Had a great meal here.

Came to beetlecat on a Sunday night, have been here multiple times and have never complained. When we arrived it was very busy, we had a reservation but waited around 15 minutes to be seated. Server was attentive during the beginning, but began to ignore our table. Drinks took around 30 minutes to come out, oysters took 25 minutes. Glass of wine took another 20 minutes to come out. Manager was very accommodating but will not be back due to slow service and sub par drinks.

The shuckers didn't do a very good job opening the oysters I guess so the oysters had shell debris and most were still connected to the shell making it hard to eat but overall the restaurant was great and the oysters were very tasty. The drinks were great and they wait staff was incredible.

Incredible food! Angel was our server and she was wonderful. So sweet and made great recommendations, all of which we devoured. The trout is a must have!

Wire chairs in outdoor seating are very uncomfortable. Wish we'd been warned that the chicken sandwich was very spicy hot (daughter couldn't eat it). Very overpriced!
