Featuring raw oysters and fresh seafood with international influences from executive chef Eddie Barrett, BeetleCat is a trendy restaurant and bar in Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood. The menu transports you to the New England coast at the upstairs dining room and oyster bar, while the downstairs Den lends itself to a 70s surf shack. Enjoy fresh air on one of the two patios, both upstairs and downstairs. BeetleCat is open nightly for dinner and offers brunch in the Den on Saturdays and Sundays.

Disappointment this time. We ordered the large raw platter, shrimp bathed in old bay, over over over cooked. Fish dip on the salty side or the old bay ruined it all. Ceviche was nice and fresh. Always a good cocktail and our server was great.

Alek and Alanah went above and beyond to make our evening enjoyable. Alanah even went to far as to make something special for our table to celebrate that we were taking our daughter to a play at the Fox Theatre. Food, drinks and dessert were all phenomenal. Thanks for a beautiful evening.

Beetlecat was fantastic. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday. The service and food were top notch. It was the perfect evening.

We love Beetlecat! It is one of our most frequented restaurants. Great drinks, yummy oyster selection, the fry bread...drool! This is one of our favorite spots for a quick getaway meal. The service is always great, however last night's was amazing! Angel was fun to talk to, gave us great recs for oysters and took great care of us. We always can't wait to return, but hope to visit with Angel on our next visit.

We were excited for the donut brunch at Beetlecat, we booked this past Sunday - with some concerns regarding the water safety (Beetlecat had been under a boil water advisory since Friday, May 31, and this was Sunday, June 2 with the boil advisory still underway) - when we inquired there seemed to be little concern over the tap water being served, BUT the manager did go out of her way to provide us with bottled water to ease our minds regarding the water safety. We had a very pleasant experience and the donuts didn’t disappoint. The standouts for our group were the Plain Jane, the Strawberry (think Strawberry Shortcake Bars from Good Humor), and the Apple Fritter. All got the highest comments/ratings from our group. The Add-Ons were also fantastic. Biscuits, Jam & Honey Butter came with 2 biscuits and they were giant. Enough to feed 2-3 people. Old Bay fries were also delicious and came out lightly spiced, a nice addition to the brunch. They also have (not on their online menu) a cheesey hash, think the largest hash brown with cheese you could imagine. It’s large enough to share. I give the cheesey hash a 9/10. The only drawback to our reservation was sitting downstairs, in a dimly lit basement like environment by the bathroom. We had a party of 6, so it could be they couldn’t accommodate elsewhere. If you want a brightly lit brunch, I’d advise you request outdoor or upstairs. For 5 of us to dine, it was $145 without tip, a decent priced brunch, but no one ordered booze. Hope you enjoy the donut brunch as much as we did!
