Beeside Balcony is a hidden gem in La Jolla Village, CA with a relaxed seaside chic décor where guests enjoy global mediterranean cuisine and ocean views from interior and the balcony. A third generation chef of Spanish and Italian descent, and hailing form Paris, France, Christophe's restaurant career began at 17 in the kitchen of his father's restaurant in Pasadena when they first emigrated to the USA. Upon returning to southern California in 2011, Christophe spent 8 years as the managing partner of Eddie V's Prime Seafood in La Jolla. Here he deepened his knowledge of sourcing and cooking the freshest seafood available, while delivering world class service. The laid back coastal vibe of La Jolla, combined with the attention to detail from Christophe's fine dining background, infuses Beeside Balcony with an easy elegance that elevates any gathering, and makes the perfect backdrop to showcase his global mediterranean menu. The food and the drinks were great. Service was wonderful Oceanview wonderful it was kind of quiet cause it was a Monday but lovely. I would totally go back and I don’t say that often

Took my husband out for his birthday with some friends. Found this place through the San Diego restaurant gift cards. It is a little hidden gem in La Jolla. Parking can be difficult. The staff was friendly and helpful. Small place with indoor and outdoor seating. Food was wonderful.

Wonderful food and service. The view was fantastic as well. Definitely recommend the gyro. Very delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

The food and service were very good and the ambiance was lovely. It was very loud when we were seated. Most of the noise was from a large group having cocktails with brunch. When they left it was much quieter and we could have a conversation without shouting. If the restaurant is full the noise volume would likely be pretty high.

The salmon and truffle fries were amazing! The Baklava dessert was the best I’ve ever had - so good with a beautiful balcony!

The staff was very warm and welcoming when my friend and I arrived. The service was outstanding. The hostess wisely anticipated our need to change from an outside table to an inside table due to the foggy weather that arrived. Our server was very helpful in explaining the menu to us and helped us decide what to order. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious.

Ate off the Sunday brunch menu. Several entrees were too salty or oily. View is fantastic. Service was fine.
