Loved every moment! The food was delicious! (Cauliflower tacos, fish tacos, beef, onion rings, eggplant side dish!!!, donuts with 3 sauces). Service was excellent & so were the drinks.

Food is sharable. Deserts are the best part. Tables are so close together. As people were walking by, every person kicked the back of our chairs - easily over 100 people. Completely spoils the good atmosphere when you keep having your chair bumped or kicked.

Food was average and so expensive. Service was bizarre bordering on uncomfortable. We thought it might be the server’s first day on the job, but found out it wasn’t. So, not sure what was going on there.

Food and service were excellent. Our server was very attentive and steared us into the most delicious dishes. The food came out quickly from the kitchen and was gorgeously presented and prepared. The only criticism is the hostess staff. When we checked in they were very dismissive and pointed for us to wait in the bar area. When we asked for an update on our table, they told us you will be seated near to your reservation time except that it was at our reservation time! They need a course in customer service and attitude adjustment.

We came to NYC for a bachelorette party and I had done a lot of research on fun restaurants for the occasion - & we were not disappointed! We didn’t tell the bride about the restaurant so watching her walk in was so funny. The staff was fabulous; attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I will be dreaming about the food until the next time I can get back! Would recommend 1000% !

Everything was fabulous! Loved the who experience . I just felt that the different courses came to the table too quickly. Would have liked a bit of time to savour the food I had eaten .

Everything was delicious! Favorites were spicy salmon and cacio e pepe ravioli. The waiter was friendly and helpful. Will come back here the next time I am in NYC!

We were having a family girls evening and we all enjoyed ourselves so much!! Food was outstanding, our waiter Christian was very helpful in helping us select our choices and was courteous and knowledgeable. We had the beef Wellington with crispy eggplant, cacio and Pepe ravioli, elote corn, and roasted beets with whipped goat cheese. Seriously, each dish was perfection! I heartily recommend this restaurant for a special occasion, a date or just any time you are looking for excellent food and a trendy New York experience!

This dinning experience was phenomenal with the assistance of our initial server Curt in the Gold Dinning room. He graciously accommodated our inquiries about the various dinning sections and menu recommendations. Our experience was fulfilled when we were offered a seating arrangement in the pearl/chandelier dinning room as previously booked in the reservation. Thank you Curt for your hospitality on my birthday. Feedback: Exclusive description of dinning rooms upon booking reservation online may be helpful. Overall rating : excellent 👍🏾

Food was outstanding, but we felt very rushed. Meals were brought out immediately. The staff kind of lurked. I felt like someone was reaching over my shoulder to grab an empty plate of refill water glasses every 15 seconds. They need to chill. The NY strip steak was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to every steakhouse in Manhattan except Gallagher’s. All the food was outstanding.

Overall was a great experience, loved the speakeasy vibe! Food and drinks were also delicious. My only complaint would be that we had to wait at least another ten minutes upon already arriving late to the restaurant, which was sucked because it was supposed to be a surprise. Also, the service was a tad bit slow. Otherwise, we had an amazing evening.

I was really unimpressed- for the price the good was ok really small portions and the experience was not good. We had a reservation and had to wait for over 20 min and then we were rushed us out for dinner and service overall was really subpar for the prices that were being charged.

Not to be missed. A jewel of New York. Entry via a shop that gives little hint to the beautiful setting behind. Superior food and service make this a quality dinning experience.

We went to Beauty & Essex for Sunday brunch. Food was incredible, service excellent, our server was very nice and professional. I definitely would recommend to visit this place and will come back! Thank you for your hospitality!!!
