Avec l'équipe derrière The Stanton Social il y a Beauty & Essex, un grand restaurant de 930 mètres carres, avec son bar et salon au cœur du Lower east side.

L'atmosphère de l'espace est à la fois grandiose et intime, avec du caractère et effervescent.     Started out very rocky; had to wait around for no apparent reason when we arrived at 5:00 on Father’s Day, even tho the place was empty. Apparently the hostess hasn’t clicked something indicating we had arrived. Then we were given the worst table in the place which was also inexplicable given that the place was empty. Ended up asking to move our table. Once the food and drinks got underway it was great- both were excellent. Deserts were to die for. Our waitress was lovely.

    This is truly a “New York” spot. The entire experience of showing up to a pawn shop front only to be greeted by doormen that open a door to a 25 ft chandelier centered room is surreal. The food and ambiance was great - overall great experience. The only knock on the place is the hostess team were a bit rude and disorganized.

    Food was cold and not very good. Too expensive for what it was. Felt rushed and seating was tight - my chair kept getting bumped into every time someone passed by. Disappointed as this place by highly recommended.

    This is the second time we have been to the New York Beauty and Essex. Food and service and ambience were amazing. Maybe some lower priced options would be good. Drinks were terrific but a little pricey but it’s New York.
