                                                                                                              It’s like they were going for a super casual luxury experience, but it didn’t really work for me. The service was very laid back, and the only server was a bit brusque. We were asked to pick out our drinks from a cooler, which was just so odd in a place with glass tables, velvet chairs, and chandeliers. It took a while to get our food. My food tasted very mediocre and wasn’t at all hot, but my partner had no complaints about his. All in all, it just didn’t meet expectations I’ve come to have for a Portland restaurant.

                                                                                                              The food was good, the drinks were good and the service was good as well! We went there for a Tuesday Night dinner and maybe that was part of it but I expected it to be busier. I had made a reservation and they took the time to write my name on a sign and place it on the table which was a nice touch, but only one other table had a guest when we arrived. Perhaps this place gets busier later in the week or is more dependent on hotel guests, or maybe the fact that PSU was shut down nearby for protests had an effect on it, I just thought it would be a bit livelier. I also thought that the walk up quick bite food and drink case for hotel guests took away from the ambiance of the restaurant.

                                                                                                              Great fun food choices for an easy brunch before an event nearby. Name on table was a nice touch with our reservations. Easy casual space with upgraded food choices and nice touches. Would visit again. Our group had the benedict, teri burger, combo plate (ribs were great!), masubi and bibimbap bowl. All delicious.

                                                                                                              I had the mochi waffle with popcorn chicken, it was very good. I’d never had a mochi waffle & wasn’t sure what to expect, but I really enjoyed the flavor and the texture. Our waitress was very nice & calm. Over all we had a great experience!
