Our stunning ocean-front location with spectacular sunsets makes the Beach House an iconic destination on Kauai's south shore that has won the Hale 'Aina Award for "Best Restaurant - Kauai" for 20+ years.

Our philosophy at the Beach House is simple - take aloha, blend it with fresh and high-quality ingredients, and add an ocean view to deliver a handcrafted, Hawaiian experience. Executive Chef Marshall Blanchard makes the most of local ingredients by sourcing our fish directly from island fisherman and our beef from neighboring ranches. We incorporate fresh and local produce throughout our menu, highlighting Hawai'i farms and the resources that surround Kauai.

Reservations are highly recommended for a dining room table in our open-air restaurant. We also offer lounge seating on our lawn, where the full menu and full service are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please check in with the bar host for lawn seating.

We have always loved the Beach House. But this time there was a wedding going on. It was so loud that we couldn’t hear each other talk.

Moon was an excellent server. The Mahi Mahi and the scallops were delicious. We also enjoyed the lobster deviled eggs.

No parking. Somewhat tacky interior. Table was sticky even though we were the first dinner serving young adults staff attempting to impress. People didn’t work on me. They were polite but just be yourself. It was really nothing wrong with the food but nothing special about it it really was kind of blah, lots of people standing on the grass apparently the setting is what it’s all about and it was very pretty outside with a direct view of the ocean however, nearby restaurant called Keokis that we had dinner at the previous evening was an order of magnitude better in terms of food, selection, service, ambience so by all means go to the beach house but if you’re actually looking for a good experience, go to Keokis Paradise nearby

Quality has fallen off sharply here since my last visit. Ahi tuna “steak” about half-inch thick, nondescript potatoes, way undercooked “steamed” broccoli. Four teenagers, who weren’t very hungry, ordered off the keiki (kids) menu (menu clearly states those come with choice of ice cream for dessert). After dinner waitress said that since they were over 12, they couldn’t get the ice cream, that they were “saving it for the real kids”. Haha…bush league! Our group spent over $800 and they wouldn’t give out a $1 scoop of ice cream!! Very very tacky…..after I scoffed to the waitress about it, she came out with 2 small dishes of ice cream as a “compromise”..haha…what a joke. The other adults in the party were not terribly impressed by their entrees either. Highly doubtful to return. However, the views are nice off the back patio.

Way overpriced. Not at all worth it. Food was good, but the service was mediocre. The waitress was friendly but not very attentive. They even charge for valet, that the restaurant keeps, and you still need to trip the driver. They also charge a 4% kitchen service fee. My small piece of filet was $63. Drinks were $19. There were only 4 options for dinner entrees, and my mother didn’t want any of them so she sat there and didn’t even eat. My child didn’t want any of the 3 options she had, either. I would never go back here and do not recommend it at all. Worst dining experience we’ve had on our trip.

Excellent ambience & setting! Fabulous menu & selection with delicious food + presentation, fabulous waiter ~ Friendly, knowledgeable & enjoyable to talk with. A ‘must’ visit on next Poipu area trip!!

This was the best meal we had on our trip, and the most memorable. The view was stunning but the incredible service is really what put our experience over the top. I would definitely visit again, and make sure my reservation was during the stunning sunset!
