Underneath sparkling crimson chandeliers designed to mimic the flames of a volcano, sit for a curated tasting menu that weaves from raw preparations to the prized vaca vieja, or ribeye aged to perfection. As the flames in the fire kitchen flicker, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind meal, from inventive takes on carpaccio to the most tender rotisserie-style meat. The kindness of the servers was outstanding. Table set up was delayed and they invited us for cocktails. The food is very good.

This place is a must! The vibe is cheek but casual and energetic. We were cared for by Alessandro and man what an experience! Timed all to perfection. The wine pairing: worth every penny. Cured well with an adventurous air and non predictable choices it made the menu shine. The food: unpredictable takes on some classics and then some. Food with character, sophistication yet soul. I highly recommend!

The food was fantastic, but may be considered expensive. I think the service could have been more prompt and attentive considering the caliber of the restaurant. I dined at the Las Vegas counterpart and this was not as good. Overall ok.

**EDIT TO BELOW REVIEW**: The restaurant contacted me about my negative experience. They agreed it was not up to their normal standards and appreciated the constructive feedback. I am grateful they care about their customers and improving their operations. Credit to Gibson's/Jose Andres for striving to do better. I believe they will. I love Jose Andres and normally the experience is superb. This meal was not. We started off on the wrong when they told us they don’t have sparkling bottled water. They then charged my colleague $5 for a club soda out of the bar gun. My seat was wobbly and damaged. The table was also wobbly. The busser was ill equipped to solve that issue. The server hardly introduced themselves and did not explain the menu in the least. Steak options look delicious but are limited. Ribeyes are a minimum of 16 oz which is overkill and your only other options are a hanger steak (delicious) or extremely expensive wagyu options. There was no real rhyme or reason to coursing, our steak came out while we had a table full of food and dirty share plates. Regardless the food was superb and a stellar credit to your kitchen. We recognize it was a Monday but usually have a far better experience at Jose Andres restaurants. Finally your bathroom situation is ridiculous. I cannot imagine having an intimate evening with a loved one in your charming dininh room and leaving that for anti-septic parking garage in the basement. To be frank it’s downright dangerous to expect your female guests to push through multiple heavy doors with blind corners in an area that is accessible to the public. Extremely poor planning. I’d rather go to Jaleo any day of the week than return to Bazaar meat.

We had a wonderful dinner with customers. Food was amazing. Best steak ever. Ambiance very nice. Waiter very knowledgeable and knew how to be helpful with being intrusive. Bazaar will be my new go to for a great Chicago dinner.
