Bayviews Restaurant & Lounge Bar is located on the beach with endless views of the coast to the ocean in cool climate coastal northern Tasmania.
It offers a beautiful relaxed atmosphere for dining in the restaurant, casual drinks and bar food in the lounge area and private dining, conferences and meetings in the exquisite Wave room.
At Bayviews we have a seasonal menu and it paints a portrait of the region using the highest quality ingredients that we can find, focusing on six key areas: land, ocean, vineyards, livestock, dairy and orchard.
Our contemporary restaurant offers a-la-carte and six or nine course tasting menu. Our dishes are created from local products and techniques from our talented team of chefs. Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Vegan options available.

We will be able to deal with some Gluten and Dairy Free requirements and some intolerances if minimum 48 hours notice is given. Limited seats available.

Really disappointing. We all ordered the entree tasting plate and everything on the plate was deep fried. The churros were burnt and oily without much inside and the beef cheek was also deep fried and oily. We paid close to 200 dollars for our meal so we are most u happy that it was not a pleasant experience. We started with a beautiful bread and had high hopes for a fresh and flavoursome Mother’s Day dinner and instead it was oily, sat heavy and made us feel quite ill. We loved the venue and the service was excellent but I doubt we will take another chance on this restaurant as the food was really disappointing.

The food was excellent some of the best we have had at any restaurant. Service was very good with food delivered quickly. Some trouble taking our desert order. We thought we were forgotten but really most of us were too full to order anything.

Bayviews is a great restaurant with wonderful views of the Burnie foreshore. The food is always on point, and you are served with friendly staff. The background music is just that, in the background and doesn't compete with the conversation of the table. Overall, a pleasant experience, great food, friendly service, in a wonderful location.

We had a fabulous night exceptional cuisine, service , ambience and views to die for. Special attention given to my 102 year old mother who loves her creamy garlic prawns so Chef did especially for her. Every time we dine there it is always perfect. We will not leave it so long next time. Thankyou! 👏👏👏
