Food and,service were acceptable, however applying a service charge to an already overpriced packet of crisps was a bit ott. Noise level in the grill at dinner was unbearable as other guests were extremely loud.

We enjoyed our meal. We were late arriving due to traffic but the staff were very accommodating. Unfortunately there were very few people in the restaurant so not much atmosphere. The selection was reduced due to our late arrival but when the food arrived it was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. We got discount with our Blue Light Card

Lovely food - the pork chop was incredible, the steak was perfectly cooked. The chicken schnitzel was very tasty. Deserts were very nice and really good service

Excellent evening lovely surroundings downstairs upstairs somewhat dated but cocktail bar and restaurant beautifully refurbished, food and service wonderful.

Our meal at the Bay Tree was delicious and the staff were lovely. They were very friendly and attentive which made our evening even more enjoyable. Our server made us a cocktail at the end of the meal, which was her first time doing it, and it was perfect. The restaurant itself is very nice and we thought it a shame that it wasn’t busier on a Friday evening.

I had the courgette and oyster mushroom vegetarian meal it was amazing the best vegetarian meal I’ve ever had the courgette crisp were so nice and the gnocchi was just delicious it was in my opinion outstanding , and you must try the gypsy tart cocktail if you go it was divine
