Chef / Owner Pat Pascarella of The Porchetta Group welcomes you to his third restaurant, Bastone. Bastone is home to an Italian wine focused mozzarella bar featuring handcrafted pastas and craft cocktails. The star of the show is Bastone’s mozzarella bar offering charcuterie and hand pulled mozzarella to order. With 60 indoor seats, over 100 outdoor and a 10-40 person private dining room, Bastone offers experiences from an intimate date night to large gatherings for friends, family, and business.

Bastone’s competition (Pricci, Colettas, Tre Vele) is just miles ahead. It’s disappointing. We’ve been to Italy several times and Bastone’s mozzarella bar was just not great. Two servers could not tell us which mozzarella was which. Why aren’t they labeled? Server recommended the fried chicken and it was not deboned and way too sweet. My husband’s eggplant parm was a dense log of flavorless stuff. To top it off, we ordered the layered lemon…hoping for a little taste of the Amalfi coast. Let’s just say it was not.

Our server, Christine, was so sweet and super helpful with us choosing appetizers and entrees. They were able to make most menu items gluten free and the mocktails were particularly yummy. Would be a great date night spot but perfect for Mother’s Day as well!

We came here for the first time a couple weekends ago to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We had Christine as our server and she was amazing!!! I didn’t know much about the restaurant before booking but was made aware we were there during Happy Hour(s) [4-6pm], where most of the charcuterie options were half off, and there was a discounted menu a part from the standard one as well. I couldn’t tell you what meats and cheeses we got but they were all so fresh! We also ordered one meatball which was probably the best meatball I’ve ever had. My favorite cheese was one made with buffalo’s milk. Very light and refreshing. If you want the full experience, definitely pace yourself because we only ordered 3 meats and 3 cheeses and along with the bread (so good) we almost couldn’t finish our pasta entree. Christine was sure to pace our orders which we appreciated. The place was just classy enough to be a little dressed up but enough to also be dressy/casual. Valet parking only but was only $5. We will be back!!!

We went to Bastone for their happy hour and it was one of the best that we have attended. Phenomenal prices, great food and the service provided by Noah was second to none.

Visited Bastone for a big birthday dinner. Was told this is a great place for a special occasion, although I’d say the opposite. It is good for anything but a special occasion. Food- mediocre, experience - sub par, called in prior to let them know we had a birthday in our party and it was not acknowledged at all, not even a happy birthday by any staff. Disappointing and just bummed I spent so much money for a poor experience.

The cheese was beyond wonderful and the value on the large board was excellent. The entrees, while very good, are a little overpriced for the portion and their wine list was moderately lacking. However the service was good, staff friendly and accommodating, and we did have an overall excellent night.

Go to place on Westside. Interesting menu not typical Italian... the cheese tray is a meal in itself... add homemade bread. Always attentive service.

Incredible flavors and delicious drink's!! Service was quick and efficient. Loved the Pasta Dinner service. Fresh pasta made table side with thee Chief making it in aged parmesan cheese wheel. Noah or server knew the menu. Made spot on recommendations. Loved the music they played. Definitely fit the relaxing vibes. Will return!!!
