We had a really good time there. The food and service were amazing. Everything is fresh, and some items are even imported. It was a Tuesday night, so it was relatively quiet. We went to celebrate a birthday. Highly recommend.

We have now decided Basil is our go to for brick oven pizza as well as fine Italian food. Hugo (the owner ) welcomes you and makes you feel glad you decided to dine in his restaurant. Excellent simple Italian food , and daily specials that you sometimes want to try. Go there , you will be very pleased. They also have an arrangement to park in a lot a short walk from the restaurant which makes driving there very easy. Bob and Lucille

Real authentic Italian Resturant, one of the best in queens with out a doubt. From the fresh pizza, to the pasta, to the dessert - absolutely everything was spot on. If you know quality food and enjoy great Italian recipes, I highly recommend this place. I forgot to mention, service was outstanding !

Basille is the kind of place that makes you feel welcomed like if your at your families home being well fed and well taken care of. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates at all levels of quality services from the food to a wonderful finning experience. It’s exceptional quality at its best. Ambiance, Music, Service, Food and Deco are all good. Only problem just have to be more attentive to remove unused dishes when customers finish eating and they have utensils on table.

Everything is awesome from the time you Arrive to the time that you leave the service from Emily Angel and the staff was totally awesome we really appreciated how welcome we were and how professional they are and I must come in the chef Jesus of course I will return and recommend to family and friends

We usually love this place. The last time we wenter, however, the "regular" waiter wasn't there are the sub/new person wasn't as solid. We will still be back though.

...this was a terrific recommendation from those who proceeded us and submitted kudos on-line. There are multiple pluses about this restaurant...great food...attentive wait staff...very attractive surroundings & extremely clean bathrooms. If your hesitant about driving and parking there's no need to worry as there is a public lot less than 300 feet form Basil Brick Oven Pizza.

Saw the great review on Open table. We were staying in Long Island City so it was a short train ride to the restaurant. It was easy to find. Everything about this restaurant was excellent! Best meal we had in 4 days of being in New York. We would definitely recommend this restaurant- you won't be disappointed!

This is a restaurant/pizzeria serving both regular plates and neapolitan style pizzas. While the food is good, I prefer the thinner style Roman pizza, so I wasn't blown away by what we ate. The wine list is nice, and moderately priced.

First visit to Basil's. Had a weekday lunch with a cousin I hadn't seen in ages. The restaurant was very pretty and really quiet, which was ideal for us. We were happy to share one of their gorgeous salads and a delicious multi-mushroom risotto which was also excellent. The prices are about average for Astoria (which means at least 20% less than Manhattan). It's very close to the Astoria Boulevard Station on the N or W. I want to ret many more things on that menu, and I will be back!

Upon entering the restaurant the immediately make you feel like family! The food is incredible, the service is top notch and they are happy at what they do. I HIGHLY recommend going!
