Barzaari was founded on a vision of encapsulating the Eastern Mediterranean into an accessible suburban restaurant. Contemporary in style, while respecting the traditional flavours and hospitality of the region.
Barzaari’s kitchen centers around the wood-fired oven, and charcoal barbeque, our food thoughtful though simple.
Barzaari makes every effort to accommodate dietary requirements wherever possible. Vegan/vegetarian/gluten free always catered for.
Barzaari is fully licensed, offering a concise wine list, cocktails and beer selection.
Tea styles from the region are on offer as well as our sand pit coffee.
Barzaari caters to all events; christenings, engagements, weddings, with all menus customized or modified to suit requirements.

    Groups of 10 or more people will be placed on one of our banquet menus. We have three banquet menu options; $75pp / $95pp and the vegan banquet $70pp. All dietary requirements can be catered for on our banquet menus.     We were there pre-COVID and were impressed. Everything is still up to the same high standard. Food was wonderful, nothing below a very good. We were particularly impressed by the Mushroom Koubes, the slow cooked beetroot and baklava ice cream. It's "industrial chic" decor suits it well. Happy to recommend it to all.

    So glad we found this place through open table. Close to home! Service was impeccable, friendly and helpful. We had the Wood fired prawns and pork and The Cauliflower. So tasty! Food was outstanding and we’ll definitely be back with friends to work our way through the menu.

    Honestly, we were blown away by the food at Barzaari. The pita bread and hummus was divine. We had bbq prawns, lamb shoulder, grilled mushrooms, fried brussel sprouts and octopus - everything we ate was simply outstanding. Service was super friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend this place highly enough...

    A really great restaurant and the food / Chef was next level. Cost was relatively very good value. Definitely going back with the family.

    Everything we ordered was amazing. The octopus and Brussel sprouts were stand outs. So yum!

    We ate there last night, the set up nice and warm, the place was clean, our table was a little bit sticky. We ordered a few mezze and entree plates to share between 3 of us, the labne with pita - delicious, the octapus- very chewy, but the flavour was tasty the potatoes it came with to die for, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the saganaki with honey, not to my liking, too saltly and not enough honey, but the people we were with enjoyed it, the kouba- again delicious, cauliflower with Tahini, tasty. Service was fast and friendly. Would eat there again.

    A wonderful local family run Greek Cypriot restaurant in marrickville. A real treat. We just went with the suggestions of the fabulous waiter and had a great meal and discovers some lovely Lebanese red wines. Highly recommended.
