My family and I went to Bartolo's in Park City last night to celebrate my birthday. When I made the reservation I noted that we were going to dinner there to celebrate my birthday. No mention was ever made of my birthday, even though my husband said it a number of times in front of our server. The seating is terribly uncomfortable - hard wooden benches or chairs with absolutely no cushion or fabric to soften it. I ordered the spaghetti and mussels with a light butter sauce for my entree. I asked if they could swap the spaghetti for fettucine. The server said absolutely. When my meal was delivered it was with spaghetti. The mussels were so fishy that I could not eat them. The sauce was almost inedible - it tasted as though there was an entire stick of butter in it. So, I barely touched my dinner, but our server never inquired if there was something wrong with it, or if I'd like to order something else. I was really looking forward to a lovely dinner out with my family, but unfortunately that did not happen.

The food was outstanding. The ambiance was not as nice as the Farmington Bartolo’s. We thought it odd that the wait staff just brings a bottle of water and sets it on the table instead of pouring. What’s that about? Between our appetizers and entrees our group probably had six different dishes. They were all delicious!

We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. We all ordered unusual menu items and they were delicious! We also loved that our reservation resulted in the nicest round four top table in the restaurant. We will definitely be back!! Thank you!!

Located in Kimball Junction, Bartolo's is a delightful take on Italian cuisine. We were enthusiastically greeted by the hostess who promptly seated us at a table close to the kitchen and bar where we could easily observe food preparation. A bottle of water was brought to our table promptly which was very welcome in the dry mountain air of Park City. Our wait person stopped by our table to see if we wanted something more than water to drink. We ordered glasses of wine from the menu. The wine was a bit on the expensive side, but was very good quality. We decided to split the Pork Belly appetizer which was a good idea given the generous proportions. It was very enjoyable with plenty of pork belly to satisfy our appetites. For the main course we split an order of Pistachio Pesto Pasta which was delicious as it was unusual. The service at Bartolo's was very attentive without being overbearing. All-in-all it was a memorable experience!

Our dinner at Bartolo's in Park City was wonderful. I had the mussel spaghetti which was awesome. The staff was friendly and efficient. I'll definitely be back.

Great pasta dishes. Service is lacking. Waited for water far after wine was delivered and had to keep asking for more water - I get it, it's free. Waitress was non existent. And no putting in tip defaults at 20%, 22% and 25% isn't cool after service like that.
