The food was horrible. The wait time was long . The waiter was absent majority of the time and the manager was one of the rudest I’ve ever encountered. Won’t ever be back again. Horrible Mother’s Day experience.

We were intentionally seated at a table under a dripping AC vent - I mentioned it and server said “Oh I know, we just can’t seem to fix it”. People seated after us had prompt service and offered happy hour specials, our server brought water and disappear. At 6pm they were “out” of steak (only 3 tables in the place) and another dish. We ended up with mediocre $20 steak sandwiches. WAY over salted. Wait for food was over 30 minutes. Don’t recommend, won’t go back.

This is a lovely little bistro! The food and service was wonderful. We loved the imperial dip, the shrimp linguini and the crawfish etoffee were all delicious. The chocolate bread pudding was divine!

Favorite little local place in the CBD. We usually just walk in and sit at the bar but this time we were 6 people so we were placed near the window.

We had the shrimp and boudin appetizers -- they we really good. I had the steak sandwich -- it was excellent. Service was great.

The food was great. I had the shrimp linguine and it was the best meal I have had in a while. The boudin balls were great as well. We were seated quickly and the server was quick and tentative. A+ experience.

Food was amazing and the ambience was perfect. Great music all afternoon. No one else in town had crawfish etoufee because it is not the perfect season, but Baronne pulled it off and it was delicious. The boudin was wonderful and the Greek salad made it seem somewhat healthy. Bridgette was so great, along with our waiter Ben. We came for lunch and ended up staying almost until dinner time enjoying drinks, great music, and conversation with employees and other patrons. A wonderful little hideaway restaurant in New Orleans. Probably going to be my regular place to hit every trip. I am so happy to escape the chaos a few short blocks away for a great meal in a pleasant venue with great people. Don’t miss.

Made reservations for 7:15, Long line to check in. People without reservations were getting seated, while those with were in line. They only had one line for reservation check-in and walk up. We ordered, and after a hour and ten minutes we finally asked if we could get our salads soon. Fifteen minutes later salads came out. No idea what table the food was going to. I finally had to signal that it was ours. We were seated about 10 feet from the ready window and could hear everything . Food came out at the hour and forty-five minute mark. Less than average. Maybe just a bad night, but I was not worth the 15 minute walk and two hour wait for food. I hope it was just a bad night for the staff.

Zero management of check in station. Person checking people in was waiting and busing tables as well as working behind the bar. We stood at the desk for over 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Food was average, not worth putting up with the poor service.

Our waiter was excellent. Hubby had the Stuffed Chicken which was very good, I had the shrimp linguini which had a Brie cream sauce. We got the Bread Pudding to go and shared later.

I made reservations in New Orleans at Baronne Bistro and we showed up 5 minutes prior to the start time. The host said that Open Table shouldn’t have allowed us to make reservations as they had a party arriving and we would not be able to be sat despite us also having reservations. Mind you our reservations were for 8:15pm and there were only 3 tables in the entire restaurant. My daughter and I said we could decide and order quickly and were willing to be patient as we had wanted to try the food there on our last evening in town. The host was not willing to work with us or let us stay he seemed flustered and frankly unprofessional. There were only 2 of us and the restaurant was dead and the party wasn’t expected for 20 minutes or more. We left, went to Kingfish New Orleans and had phenomenal food, incredible drinks and everyone from the host, bartender and server were top notch. We left a generous tip to show our gratitude. Everything happens for a reason, go to Kingfish and try their Spicy Margarita, Crab BLT and Steak Salad! Their crab cakes were also delicious.

Blacken shrimp was merely frozen bag shrimp heated on a flat top. Bag salad greens. Ordered bread as an appetizer because the food was so slow to come out then received my bread after my food!

A real hidden gem. We got in and had a great visit with the owners. Were seated and there was options to be outside on the beautiful street and day. Food was incredible... cannot wait to go back!!

I'm so glad we discovered this Bistro, the music was fun; loved the retro sound. The food was great and very filling we all took boxes to go home. The service was excellent.

The proprietress was exceptional, however I felt as if she was doing it all - from seating us to serving to bartending. I’m not sure if they were short handed or if she is just an over-achiever. The food was good but the chef was too heavy-handed with the sauces and dressings. Believe me, I’m a “sauce-baby” but there can be too much of a good thing. My husband’s shrimp linguini was delicious (of course I had to taste it) but after the first bite, I wondered if he could finish it. The sauce was so rich and buttery but there was literally a pool of butter left in the bowl when the noodles were gone. My Caesar salad was similar. The first few bites were amazing but the dressing quickly overwhelmed the lettuce making it soggy and soupy halfway through. A promising restaurant that just needs to remember delegation and moderation.

The ambiance was great. For dinner I ordered the catfish and it was delicious. The c'est bon shrimp as an appetizer was delicious as well. The service was great. The servers were very friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend this establishment.

Katie was phenomenal! She took amazing care of us. The gumbo, boudin stuffed chicken and flatbread with cajun flair all tasted wonderful! We loved the vibe of the place and we will be back. We are looking forward to trying chocolate ganache bread pudding next time!
